Mooi

Riad Turquoise is een aanrader voor een verblijf in het oude gedeelte van Marrakech. Wij hebben van ons verblijf genoten mede door de gastvrijheid en behulpzaamheid van de eigenaar en het personeel.

Wonderful little find on Expedia, an oasis of calm from the heat, dust and noise. The staff were wonderful and made sure that all our needs were catered for, would definitely recommend staying here!!

bezaubernde Ruheoase in zentraler Lage

Posted May 7, 2015
Pros: Geschmackvolle Zimmer, nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstück, Sauberkeit,
Cons: alles Perfekt!!!!
Sehr empfehlenswert!

Good location, nice oasis tucked away.

Posted Apr 27, 2015
To look at from the outside, it is not much, but step through the door and that all changes. Lovely little Riad, in good location and really nice friendly staff. George speaks a reasonable amount of English, but if you have some French, that would be better. You wont find it easily. So I emailed ahead and asked them to arrange a taxi to collect me from the airport and deliver me to the door, which at 22:30 was a good idea, because I wouldn't have found it. Only charged me 15 Euro on the bill for that. Overall a nice relaxing stay. Don't be afraid to venture out, 30 seconds round the corner and you are at a main route through the south of the Medina to the central square (Jamaa El Fina), or take the other fork to the left at that junction to get to La Koutoubia. Oh, 20 mins from Airport, traffic depending.

Hidden little gem

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Quiet little gem in the middle of all the bustle of the medina.
Location: South medina right next to the Badi Palace. 10 minute walk to the Souks.
Riad Turquoise is a really beautiful and quiet hotel in the south of the medina, right next to Badi Palace. Would highly recommend the riad. George, the manager, was so lovely and helpful - he booked all our evening meals and told us where to go. We had a fantastic long weekend and highly recommend this as a place to stay.

An oasis amid the chaos

Posted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: Above anything the quietness is worth every penny. Bed linen and towels changed daily . Substantial breakfast . Roof terrace to enjoy sunshine
Cons: Perhaps a few more coat hangers but that's being over critical
Location: Not far from the airport .Ideal location to visit all sights on foot , ideal location to pick up a taxi
As you approach the Bab Mullah roundabout you will wonder where on earth you've come however as the door to the Riad opens you step into a little piece of heaven . More than accommodating staff are keen to see to your every need . There was a slight language barrier but if you can remember a few key words in French you're fine . The staff gave us some suggestions on where to visit and also were happy to recommend places to eat although you can enjoy dinner in the Riad . The whole place is spotlessly clean and I'd happily return again.

Wonderful hotel in a busy city

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Just returned from Marrakech after a 3 day stay with my wife and daughter. The Riad would be a little difficult to find on your own so contact the owner who will arrange transfers. This approach is also the moist cost effective as you will not be overcharged. We had a suite which was extremely spacious and very comfortable. The beds were a little hard for our liking but that is purely a personal issue. Breakfast wad served each morning to our convenience and whilst it was the same each morning, it was well prepared and very plentiful. The location is excellent within 10 minutes walk of the mnain square and close to some very good restaurants.

Pleasant Riad within 10 mins walking distance of Djema el Fna. Very friendly staff. Could do with slightly better lighting in the room !
