“Simply the Best!”
It was wonderful, the steff did everything to make our stay perfect.
“Wish I could've stayed longer.........”
This is a wonderful hotel! Very typically Moroccan with a very helpful english speaking staff. I was only able to stay one night on my return trip home to the states and certainly wished it could've been a few days more! I was awed by the decor, cleanliness and value!
“Perfect retreat for a busy city”
This place is a calm little haven which makes an ideal contrast to the bustling, chaotic streets of Marrakech. The place has a nice personal feel as all the staff and the owner will chat away and make you feel very welcome.
“Wonderful retreat from the mad city”
My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful week at the Riad Jasmine. The setting was lovely and the staff were freindly and so very hospitable, making us feel really at home - whilst the city is busy, bustling and sometimes too much, returning to the riad was a much appreciated contrast. We ate here on two evenings as well and the home-cooked food was fantastic too. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Riad Jasmine.
“An oasis”
Very welcoming and friendly staff, more than happy to advise/book activities for you. A real oasis in the chaos of the medina, and good value.
“Riad Yasmine is a must in Marrakech!”
Riad Yasmine is a paradise in an otherwise hectic city. The staff is incredibly friendly and will assist you with everything you need to get around. We instantly fell in love with Halfa, who seems to run the show. Her kindness is just the beginning of what you can expect of the rest of the staff. The rooms are comfortable and elegantly decorated with that Moroccan charm. The food their chef prepares is authentic and absolutely delicious. I am a foodie so I know good food and the meals we had at Riad Yasmine were REALLY GOOD!!! I asked for the recipe for a dish and the staff happily gave me step by step instructions. This is something that never happens as most cooks never want their recipes to leave their kitchens. Riad Yasmine is also one of the few places a tourist can find a cocktail on a Friday. This is going to be important to any non-Muslim travelers who are use to a little wine with dinner. We loved our stay here so much that, when we returned to the city, we came right back to the Riad Yasmine. By far our greatest accommodations out of the 6 cities we traveled to in Morocco. The prices are incrediblly affordable too! You can't go wrong with a stay here. Traveler's Tip: Always ask the staff what cabs should cost as there are no meters in the cabs in this town.
“Heavenly oasis in the heart of Marrakech”
Where to begin? Riad Yasmine is a little paradise. Don't let the plain exterior fool you. You step inside from the insanity that is the Marrakech Medina and find another world. The small number of rooms are centered on a lovely interior courtyard with singing birds and bubbling pool. We spent a lot of our time flopped on thick carpets beside the water drinking wine and believing we were in an ancient palace. The rooms are what you dream about in a desert stay: stone walls, artistic archways, local tilework in the baths, nooks and crannies. Some rooms have a separate alcove for the bed and then a lovely living area. Dark woods, silky fabrics, beautiful details. The staff takes service very seriously and tends to your every need. Nothing is fast-paced; you need to slow yourself down and enjoy your time. They serve two meals a day: a range of pastries and fruits for breakfast and for dinner tagines of vegetables and grains and a delicious main course such as cumin chicken that fell off the bone in tender morsels. I never thought I would be excited about carrots, but theirs were sweet and melted in my mouth in a simple parsley preparation. Oh and don't forget the rooftop lounge area, a fun spot especially in evening. I could go on forever, but instead I'll say this: GO! Stay here. Unless you're only comfortable in a chain hotel where you can't tell whether you're in New York, LA, or Pittsburg, I promise you will have a lovely experience at Riad Yasmine.
“wonderful short break”
went to Marrakech for a short 3 night stay. The Riyadh was in quite possibly the most perfect location within 10 mins walking distance from the square and souk of which surround the narby area. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortabele and I must say that the staff are a credit to the hotel. They were extremely helpful in guiding us and advising on local area as well as arranging taxisand bookings. The Riyadh itself is cost and intimate and has a decent terrace and relaxation area. Marrakech was a tad hustly and bustly for me but regardless of the chaos it is an advenutre nonetheless with much to do and see just make sure u pack comfy shoes! Nearby souks are amazing but be prepared to be pestered loads! All in all a very interesting city with the Riyadh being a very nice retreat away from all the madness!
“A beautiful and tranquil oasis in the medina”
I wrote it above.
“Relaxing, friendly and tranquil.”
Excellent hotel offering good value for money and very attentive and frendly staff. Relaxing, tranquil and a great base for exploring Marrakesh.
