Riad Laila - beautiful

Posted Oct 18, 2010
Highly recommend this riad. Excellent welcome and beautiful courtyard. Really good breakfast too. It was quite a way from Jeema el Fna square but it made you appreciate the riad even more when you finally found it!

The riad was wonderful, the rooms comfortable and clean, and the staff was incredible, esp. Karima. I would recommend this riad to others.

Best way to visit the Medina

Instead of going to any standard hotel in Marrakech you can spend the nights in a Ryad. Kind of Family house with very few rooms located arround a central Patio. With all the serveces (Including Wifi). A fobulous Terrace. For Families, couples or fiends.

A haven of peace and quiet

Lovely Riad very central, close to the Spice Market, the big square, the museum and the madrassa. We ate in the Riad several evenings and the food was excellent.

A small sanctuary in Marrakech

Posted Mar 2, 2009 on Hotels.com
- Riad Ennafoura, February 2009 - This is a small riad hidden away behind the Souks. A quiet, and restful place - a sanctuary from the bustle of Marrakech. The housekeeper was very friendly and hospitable, the breakfast was always beautifully presented though after several days it became a little boring. The room was spacious, with an ensuite and a small walk in wardrobe - however due to the layout of the riad, it was always dark inside the room.. The highlight of the riad had to be the roof terrace - relaxing, sunny and beautiful. One thing to note, was that it was very difficult to find, especially at night - it was hidden away with no directions, very few street names and the tiny streets always blended together.

A perfect Moroccan sanctuary

Posted Nov 19, 2008
I found the hotel to be very comfortable, immaculately clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke very good english and french. A perfect sanctuary away from the mayhem of the main square in Marrakech. I would return there in an instant given the choice. Thanks.

B&B

Not an impressive start to our stay, when we arrive at the airport at midnight and no pick-up. Called the Riad and were told that we had not informed them of our time of arrival. As I recall there were no such instructions on the voucher. We had to find & pay for our own taxi to the Riad. No street lighting as we were lead through the narrow streets to the Riad at 01:00am. Something to bear in mind if you have children. A torch would have come to use. Riad was nice & clean, just a shame about the surrounding area. Staff were nice, welcoming & helpful and as an added bonus spoke some English. It was OK as B&Bs go, but I'm certainly won't be in a hurry to return.
