Property Amenities
Ryad Mogador Marrakech is among the best 3* hotels in the city. It is opposite the grand Bab Doukkala gateway to the ancient medina with its pink ramparts. Easy access to the medina on foot, or by horse and carriage to taxi to the Djemaa El Fnaa Square, modern city centre (Gueliz/Hivernage). It is a 20 minute drive from the airport. A great advantage in this busy city, is the private underground parking for residents, as well as the supermarket on its doorstep. The interior is of Moroccan design, bu the rooms are modern and all air conditioned, with TV and private bathroom. There is a coffee shop - the Tammuziga (with free WIFI) and the international restaurant, the Le Mogador. Free WIFI connexion is also available at the lobby of the hotel. The hotel accepts VISA, Mastercard, Visa Electron and Maestro bank cards, as well as travellers cheques. They provide a laundry service, and baby sitting on request (payable). The hotel doesnt serve alcohol in its bar or restaurant.
Rooms
There are 162 air-conditionned rooms, including 9 suites. Rooms have either 1 large matrimonial double bed, 2 single beds, or 3 single beds. Most rooms take a baby cot (on request). There is a satellite TV, a direct phone line, double glazed windows and a room safe (20 Dirhams per day). There is a private bathroom with tub and shower attachment.

“Great Staff, great food, great location - will be back”
Originally booked for 2 days - extended to 7 days. Staff lovely and friendly, made you feel very welcome. Breakfast was really good lots of fresh, fresh foods, orange juice, eggs, crossants, moroccan buns, cinamon scroll, pancakes - just lovely. A supermarket located 50 mtrs from hotel and right opposite the old medina and only 1/2 klm from jardine Majorelle - the most beautiful gardens I've ever seen - the property is now owned by Yves St.Laurence - not to be missed.
“Fab”
This is a fab base to explore Marrakech, its just outside the hustle and bustle of the Medina walls and has cashpoint/bank, supermarket and bus station on its doorstep. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were friendly and helpful. Also recommend the hotel's restaurant in the evening if you've had a busy day. The pool is quite small for the size of the hotel but we always managed to get a sun lounger. Great hotel which doesn't break the bank. Would recommend ear plugs as the walls are quite thin so can be a little noisy at night, but not a massive problem. Fab fab fab!!
“Nice functional hotel / Very good value”
This is a nice functional hotel: it is clean, safe, reasonably priced, well located, and quite comfortable. Breakfast is simple but very good. The location is also very good. Overall, it is a very good value. Note: There are more than one Ryad Mogadors in Marrakech. This one is close to the central bus terminus and the Bab Dukkla gate.
“Trés bon hotel”
Trés bon rapport qualité prix
“Très bon rapport qualité/prix ; hôtel agréable et surtout climatisation efficace et très silencieuse”
avons été très satisfaits ; mais attention, il existe sur Marrakech 4 Ryad Mogador ; notre avis porte sur celui réservé via Expedia qui était le Ryad Mogador Bab Doukala.
“Decent and comfortable Hotel”
My husband and i spent two nights at this hotel in december 2007 and were quite satisfied. The central location is great for visiting the city. The proximity to the bus stops and Jardin majorelle was perfect for us. We had a great view of the city from our balcony. The rooms were clean, the linen and towels were changed daily. The rooms are equipped with TVs and a heating system. The buffet breakfast was great. We had croissants, baguette, crepes marocain, boiled eggs, traditional cakes, juice, tea, coffee and lots more. I would recommend this hotel and stay there when next i visit marrakech.
“hotel des routards sur marrakech”
Personnel aux petits soins Resto "atypique" avec accès à un centre commercial Petit déjeuner très bon et très copieux Chambres simples mais bien tenues et calmes
“Good hotel for budget conscious”
Well positioned hotel near all the attractions of the Marrakech. Front rooms can be noisy but earplugs will help. Very good buffet breakfast.
“Good value for the price. Hotel staff extremely helpful.”
I booked this hotel last minute and initially was quite worried after reading some of the reviews. The hotel suits the needs of the traveller who is looking for basic accommodation, at a good rate. Rooms were clean and breakfast was fine. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and offered us some great advice. This hotel does need refurbished in certain areas. Overall we were happy with what we paid for.
“Good budget accomodation”
Located near the "old city", vbery easy access to all the action.
