Beautiful Riad, excellent location.

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Location, beautiful décor, breakfast, roominess of rooms and great room for family, a room on either side of a sitting room.
Cons: Wi-Fi was a bit weak. Needed to sit in the hall to use it.
Location: Excellent location, not too far into the medina. Easy to get to the main gate.
The hotel staff met as at the gate of the medina to take us to the Riad. The Riad was quite lovely, with a beautiful courtyard and dining area. We had 2 rooms with a sitting area in between and high ceilings and local décor. It felt very authentic. Breakfast time was flexible, prepared when you arrived. It included Temoulah bread, cheese spread and jams, croissant, yogurt, orange juice and coffee. The hotel staff arranged for our taxi arrival and departure. They were helpful, but spoke limited English. They got up early to make breakfast for us when we left for an early train.

Tolles, sehr privates Riad

Posted Jun 29, 2015

An oasis of calm

Posted Mar 22, 2015 on Hotels
We were overcharged by a young man who met our taxi and showed us the way to the hotel. He claimed to be working for the owner, but this is a scam. Beware! Otherwise, the hotel is delightful and an oasis of calm. Our room was very comfortable and romantic. Breakfast and service were good.

A little gem

Posted Mar 16, 2015 on Hotels
It's difficult to choose a riad in Marrakech, there are hundreds! Ryad Nadir was a little gem we came across and perfect for what we were looking for. Close to the souks, offered excursions and was very reasonably priced. Airport picks up are available for a small price, which you will need as it's very difficult to find the Ryad through the winding streets. However, once you've been there once it's easy to get around - we didn't get lost once thanks to the handy map Yacine, the owner gave us. Breakfast was provided every morning - fresh bread, orange juice, pastries and egg/pancakes on alternate days. We only ate in the Ryad one evening - the night we took the Cookery class but the food was delicious and the staff are fantastic. Nothing was too big or small - there was pretty much always beer and wine available to buy. If you're looking for a Riad where you can laze by a pool, this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a cheap place to use as a base for exploring Marrakech then this is perfect.

Posted Feb 26, 2015 on Hotels

Trop froid !!

Posted Feb 17, 2015 on Hotels

Merci a bientôt
