“Relax between touring”
This is a great resort with very helpful staff. Things were not perfect but the staff more than accommodated to make things right. It is away from the city so you either need a car or be prepared to use taxis. Both options are easy enough for the comfort and renewal provided by the resort. I used it as a great place to rejuvenate and reflect at the end of my journey.

Just take into consideration that you need a car to go around , although they provide you with a free shuttle service.

We enjoyed this hotel after a wonderful but tiring journey in the Southern part of Morocco. It was far from the excitement of Marrakech which was perfect for us as we were tired and flying back the next day to Chicago. We were there for 2 nights. We avoided the crowd of the New Year's Eve festivity. The garden is very interesting, displaying a large collection of cacti. It would be a plus if each plant would be labeled (name and origin of the cactus, for example), same with the trees and other plants. One minus: the jaccuzi was rather cool.... so we did not use it neither did we the beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast was light and the choice limited, but good. The choice of the menu was OK, but not very original, especially after 3 nights... the location of the hotel (which was not a problem for us) did allow easily the access of the Medina or any other neighbourhood. Doorman could easily get a taxi for guest. We liked our room that was remote from the hotel reception et dining room. This was quite plaisant. We could ask for barbecue, etc. Nice hotel. Can be recommended for any kind of vacationing.
“Terre resort morroco”
One can not fault the wonderful welcome and superb morrocan style room or cottage. My rooms was set in the middle of a lovely garden, complete with an outdoor table and umbrella. My room was one of 2 duplex syle rooms with a shared entrance way and lounge room that would be wonderful for a family as the outside door can be locked and have the benefit of feeling like a family home with a bathroom for each bedroom.The pool area and service at the hotel is wonderful but it pays to be very wary of the difference in prices from the room menus and the services at the spa and room service. It was quite a shock to pay nearly 1,000 dirham for 3 minor beauty treatments. The resturant is extremely expensive with mediocre food but it is very convenient and the town is 20-30 minutes drive from the hotel. The hotel is located 25 minutes from the airport and it really pays to hire a car as every trip to the airport is about 280 dirham and the hotel taxi charges 180 dirham each time to go anywhere local. The markets in Marakesh are wonderful and there are many wonderful restaurants. I moved from the Terre spa to La maison Arabe which was a riad (sorry spelt wrong) or period house. This was much more central and in walking distance to everything in town. If you want to lie by the pool and be right beside an arabic horse tourist show venue, you will love the Terre. The service and staff are wonderful.
