My first thought when I got off the taxi was, 'Oh my goodness, where are we going?' When we got to the Riad, what a wonderful surprise - the best experience I have ever had on holiday! It's the old town, busy, bustly and very crowded local streets but you know what, it was super. With this hotel, you are immersed with local people, who I found extremely friendly and welcoming. If required, security to walk through the alleyways at night was available from the hotel. Very conveniently located for tourist spots. Can't wait to go back.

“Perfect honeymoon haven”

We had an amazing time in Marrekech, and The Riad Blanc was a perfect oasis in the hustle of lively life in the city.Retreating to it after a morning exploring and lunch, the pool was a great cooling antitode, with copious amounts of delicious mint tea to refresh! The staff are so accommadating, every whim was met with willingness, we slept so well as the riad is so peaceful and calm.

“This was a little gem”

Our family stayed at Angsana's Riad Blanc, close to the Square, at New Year's 2009. The hotel was quiet, lovely, and inviting. The staff tried to make every accommodation -- even gave us cell phones to contact them when we were out and needed guidance. Can't say enough about the quality of the massages -- Thai style with a little deep tissue thrown in.

The hotel was stunning, and so well positioned, we were right in the heart of all the action, but the Riad was so tranquil, it was like stepping into a peaceful retreat. The hotel staff were really helpful and polite....not used to that in the UK!! Breakfast was outstanding. Was expecting cornflakes and tinned fruit, but instead we had vegetable omlettes, different Morrocan breads, teas, jam, cheeses etc. A real feast. The staff helped recommend places to eat when requested, and were always on hand for help. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. It was just the relaxing break we both needed and we would definately stay there again.

“Fabulous gem hidden in the Medina of Marrakech”

Angsana Riads Collection is a beautiful collection of traditional Moroccan riads. We stayed in the suite and loved it. The traditional tile work, Moroccan furnishings along with the beautiful decor and superb hospitality make this an outstanding choice for your stay. The riads are about a 10 minute walk from the Djema El Fna which is the main market square where you can find rich textiles, lamps, oils, scarves (and basically all things Moroccan) and delicious food. The riads are situated close enough but not too close to the main market which is busy and noisy at peak times. The hotel provides you with a cell phone so you can stay in contact with the hotel staff or call your family back home. The Angsana Riads are absolutely beautiful and be sure to check out the spa, you will not be disappointed.

“Well worth a visit”

Very friendly, excellent service and very clean. The staff really looked after us as we were 2 women travelling. Definatley advise to arrange the hotel to meet you at the airport as it is all a little intimidating arriving in the dark if you have not been before. If you want to stay in a Riad I would highly recommend to stay here.

“Hotel was in the Perfect Location to explore Marrakech”

Fascinating place, lovely people, extremely poor. Food not to our taste, beer and wine extremely expensive, Small bottle of Heineken about £5.00, average bottle of wine £ 30.00 Plus. Ignore 5* ratings our raid was lovely but not up to European standards, big hotels very disappointing. We had a great time, but would we return, No You can eat very cheaply in Marrakech, but I would not touch it, decent food at a good restaurant is not cheap. But if you fancy it, It's certainly different.

“Great riad, great location”

The riad is in a perfect location, within the old walled medina. You can walk to anywhere in the old town from here. Returning to the riad after a day in the souks is like returning to a perfect oasis. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Prior to travelling, we emailed the Angsana Riad's Marrakech office, and they were extremely helpful in arranging for us free transport from and to the airport, and in providing details of, and pre-booking, tours while we were there. All in all, a great 4 day holiday!
