Sack the mnanager

Although the staff are very friendly and honest they are poorly trained. A new manager is required ( with experience ) is required. The present one has no idea. The rooms are very basic 2* standard, Pool area 3* standard. There is great potential here if there is a new captain to steer this ship!

A 5 Hotel Star??? Not at all!

Posted Sep 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
My boyfriend and I booked this hotel because it seemed nice and outside of the city since what we wanted was to rest. There were renovation works going on at the hotel so we woke up EVERY day with hammer / drilling noises! To add that the room may look nice but the bed was terrible! I left with a terrible back pain so did my boyfriend. The reception staff were nice but that was it. We only had the breakfast in the morning and left because it was not the place to be if you needed to rest. Very dissapointing unfortunately.

Rooms have an ethnic morroccan feel to it!

The rooms is very pretty, however theres no balcony or terrace which is usually nice! The breakfast selection is the poorest experience for a 5 star! The pool is so tiny you can barely swim! However it is a relaxing stay if you have a nice room!

Traditional morocco meets 80's coke party!

Posted Jun 16, 2010
After setting us up with the room with a broken sink and leaking toilet, the gave us a nice clean one that was slightly down graded from the first. The room was nice with a flat screen, working AC and nice bathroom. The downstairs of the hotel was set up in traditional Moroccan. But the rooftop pool and restaurant is a gaudy all white 80's club scene where the owner proceeds to yell at all the staff while he walks around like a modern sultan. The food was good at the restaurant but very expensive. The club on the rooftop goes all night and can be heard in everyroom. The staff other than the owner are very nice. The hotel is very close to the airport and their shuttle service is very accomidating. I would only stay there again if I was going to the airport the next day, but would have prefered to have spent a little more and stayed at one of the nicer surrounding hotels.

Nice room, shame about .... everything else!

The hotel building itself is of a reasonably high standard but the hotel is almost invisible in the surrounding building site and there is almost constant noise from building works. Many of the facilities described as being available, ie the indoor swimming pool were either very limited or non existant. If you intend to book a Hammam or spa treatment, be aware that the facilities close at about 5.pm and the booking you thought you had made at reception may not materialise. There is no information about the booking system or the times the spa is open. However, we did have a really great massage. On the whole, the staff were very polite and helpful, although the management was appalling. We were greeted by one of the managers on arrival who continually pressured us to make decisions about when and where we would be eating. This included telephoning our room. The food was ok but there was no restaurant and guests either ate in the Riad style courtyard or in the reception / lounge. The same manager was abusive to a receptionist, physically pushing her out of his way and shouting in front of guests. On arranging to check out we were presented with a bill and told there were no facility to pay by credit or debit card and a demand made for payment in cash which was rather unpleasant. Having paid the bill, further additions were made to it and a nother demand for cash made before we were permitted to leave.
