Inconsistent hotel close to old part of town

Posted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: location, hotel staff, air condition, equipment.
Cons: Cleanliness of rooms
Location: Very good location
This accommodation was strange. Hotel has good location. They try to look like a "perfect" hotel, but it was not. Room was clean only for first look. I find foreign hair in my bed and also some stains on the carpet. Clean lady cleaned the room and she also changed towels every day but only sporadically. Finally, I can recommend this hotel. Hotel has air conditions, there was no hot. If you want travel and visit the town, the hotel is acceptable but not for romantic trip.

Worth of it's price.

I stayed in the hotel for 7 nights and I was pretty satisfied with it. The personell is friendly and speaks English to some reasonable level, they always cleaned the room and did what I asked them to do. The rooms are quite small and lack refrigerator, some rooms don't have toilets which is in the hallway, also, no elevator; therefore I am only giving 3 points for the comfort. On the other hand, it is about 20 minutes far from the city center (by walk) and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. It is close to a public beach, Palais du Pharo and the fort. Overall, it is very reasonable for it's price, I would choose to stay there again on my next trip to Marseille.

Welcome to Marseille

Posted Oct 10, 2012
Pros: The staff was great
Cons: The construction going on out front, Marseille is getting ready to be the culture capital of Europe for 2013
Location: decent, not far from everything worthwhile seeing and at a very good price
This is a very nice hotel, the staff friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help when it comes to tourist destinations in Marseille..... can't stress this enough... really friendly people.... the breakfast for 10 euro was worthwhile and the portions were satisfying.....don't expect to be treated like royalty but a good, clean quiet hotel that's not far from the beach and has bus routes right in front it's hard to go wrong here...... I was traveling alone but won't hesitate one bit to bring someone where with me
