“fills the bill”

If you don't over-expect this is a very nice well maintained and clean hotel that will be everything needed for an overnight stay. The room was clean with a small fridge and small TV. The breakfast area is small, 1 table and TV and the food choice is limited. Pastry and cereal. I didn't get in the pool but it looked OK. Ceilings are OK and everything looked like it had decent maintenance performed. Heat and air both worked well. I would definitely go back rather than take a chance on something else in the same price range. Very nice people at the desk-American when I checked in and Indian when I checked out. Both very nice people. I didn't know what to expect seeing the bad reviews on this motel.(there are good ones too ) After staying at the motel I think they must be the competition writing bad reviews. The decent reviews you see on this motel are the correct ones.

“"Just What I Wanted!"”

I was welcomed with a warm and friendly lady. She asked if we were familiar with the layout of the motel and them showed me where my room was located. The room was spacious for two with a nice table for me to lay out my material and prepare my work for the next day. I swam for an hour and the pool was clean. The pool towels could have been larger instead of the regular bath towel size. The room temperature was easily controlled and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast food was fresh and delicious and the breakfast hours were suitable for my need. When I left everything was taken care of and the gentleman at the desk was friendly ready to serve me further if needed.

“It was just right”

The hotel was clean, quiet and convenient for me. All the hotels in my destination were booked, so I stayed a little farther away and saved a ton of money.

“We will be back!”

We use this motel every year for a family reunion -- it has been getting better.

“Marshall motel”

I requested Non Smoking, they said I would have to take it up with you. The room stank, the sheets, blanket, bedspread curtains carpet and even the towels stank of smoke. We sprayed the room all over with air feshner, it did help but I sure didn't like sleeping in the smelly unhealthy room. We should have walked out demanded a refund but we were very tired.

“Not impressed”

Super 8 has never been a great motel but, it was the only one available. After driving 11 hrs I was hoping for a more accomendating staff, they were not. I called ahead to ask if I could check in early was told one time on the phone but, had a wait a hour past that time once I got there. I also reserved a non-smoking room but was given a smoking one. Front desk said they didnt' have any non-smoking available. What's the point of a reservation? Their continental breakfast was a couple cereals, tea & coffee. I will not be going back.
