Nice hotel...close to townPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: The hotel was great...typical chain hotel with all the amentities and services a chain hotel offers. This is not a quaint B&B or Inn as typical on MV.
Cons: Everything was typical for a basic chain hotel...surprised that they charge a 1.50 to use the room safe...really...that was cheap!!
Location: Perfect Location to shops, restaurants and the beach...close to bus line and stop and shop next door!
We stayed for the weekend to enjoy the Christmas in Edgartown weekend festivities. We usually come to the vineyard in season so this was a great experience to come off season with no crowds! Loved all the craft shows, parade and the great sales in all the stores throughout Edgartown! There were still lots of restaurants and shops open and of course the beach is always great for walks anytime!

Going back next yearPosted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Buffet-style breakfast, very helpful staff, quiet location despite the main road nearby, handy Stop & Shop supermarket next door
Cons: Couldn't find anything!
Location: Martha's Vineyard is stunning. Best is South Beach, Gay Head & its lighthouse, Oak Bluffs with Gingerbread Houses, cycle route from Edgartown
Stayed for two nights at beginning of November. There's really nothing to criticise about the hotel. Location a short walk from the town centre is excellent. Well maintained & tastefully decorated with very pleasant & helpful staff. Self-service buffet-style breakfast was more than adequate. First class hotel.

Very nice rooms a 5 minute drive from Edgartown. The location has no view, but the price was right for an offseason stay.

Nice, clean, 15 min walk to downtown Edgartown.Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: location, cleanliness.
Cons: Try to get more proeien into the comp. breakfast.
Location: Edgartown is it, You'll need your car, or bus/taxi to get to most other attractions (South Beach, Oak Bluff, Vineyard Haven, the Clay Cliffs, etc.)
We had our car, so we could visit all the old, familiar sites from visits to MV yrs (and yrs) ago. We had dinner in the Grill on Main (attached to the Clarion) on our last nite... excellent food/service (including our special gluten-free concerns), and one could enjoy a cocktail (or two) and not be concerned with driving afterward.

New to New England - Exploring Martha's VineyardPosted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: The location was great in terms of being close to the center of Edgartown along with shops and restaurants close by, in walking distance.
Cons: More amenities such as a pool along with more varied dining options for breakfeast including fresh fruit.
Location: Walking distance to the center of Edgartown along with shops and restraunts
Having recently relocated to the east coast, I was looking forward to exploring the best that New England has to offer particularly its outer islands, Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard. I thought that Martha's Vineyard would be the one that I would start to explore, an island just off the coast. Exploring the shops, restaurants, and beaches, I felt that I was part of an unique experience - I would definitely recommend it however the restaurants are quite pricey.

Great stay!Posted Aug 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was located within walking distance of downtown Edgartown. There was a deli right outside the door and a grocery next door. The room was upstairs and was huge. The only drawback was lugging the luggage up the stairs, no elevator. The breakfast was included with packaged goods, was okay. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly.

Reservation mix upPosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
I arrived to check in with my kids and realized I had booked the day before. The woman at the desk informed me I could not receive a refund ($400) but I could rent a room for another $300. I was so upset because this was a human error, the hotel had a room available but refused to help me. I will never book there again.
