“Great stay!”

Everyone at this hotel was very helpful and the hotel is beautiful. The location on the water in Edgartown is perfect - just far enough from the center of town. Clean, updated rooms. We were glad we stayed here.

Great hotel in a great location but the prices for food, drink were way too high. Would not recommend eating at the hotel.

We love the harbor view. It's the only place we will stay at when we visit Martha's Vineyard. The hotel is gorgeous inside and out. The pool is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. The service is top notch and very welcoming. You feel like your amongst old friends when you are there. That's how nice the entire staff is. Total CLASS. I'd also like to give special kudos to Anthony. Anthony is an AMAZING help to us whenever we book our stays there. He's the best. I made a mistake when I booked through Expedia. HE took care of it. something unexpected came up and we had to rebook our stay to another date, HE took care of it. THEN When things worked out with our situation, I called him to get our original stay dates back...and HE TOOK CARE OF IT! Thanks Anthony, you are the BEST!!! Hopefully the powers that be will make you the manager one day. = ) In any case, I just wanted to give this review on the hotel in the hopes that anyone who is considering staying here will read this and know that staying here will make their vacation one they will be glad they took.

“Edgartown's best hotel, best view and accessibilty to a lighthouse beach.”

We were very impressed and thrilled with all aspects of this hotel. The suite was large, nicely decorated and clean. There was a nice pool with doting attendant making sure you had adequate towels. The view and surrounding property was outstanding. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, local transit busand a beautiful beach with lovely beach roses. We did not eat in the hotel's restaurants which were pricey but would have if we didn't feel like walking to town.

Top notch accomodations...my only disappointment would be that main dining room is closed for lunch and dinner dining through May...bar/pub is open all year long though...food was very good there but pub atmosphere..

THE hotel in Martha's Vineyard has always been the Harbor View, with its vistas, its wrap around porch, its elegant dining room and comfortable, comfortable rooms.

“Beautiful stay”

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure when it was built but everything looked clean, new and elegant. The staff was also incredibly friendly and seemed excited to be of service in any way. Also, as we were there during off-season, many of the local restaurants were closed so we enjoyed a relaxing dinner in the hotel both nights. Again, service was excellent.

“Outstanding”

This was my second trip to Martha's Vineyard, and staying at the Harbor View made it wonderful. The staff was excellent, accommodating me when my flight was cancelled and I had to change my reservation and putting us in a terrific room in the main building. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was very clean, and we had a terrific view of the harbor. One of the side benefits is the easy walk to the lighthouse and the main area of Edgartown. Gorgeous place, gorgeous hotel, we loved it and will come back again when we are that way.
