“Quiet escape from vineyard haven shopping area”

“Not worth the deal it seemed to be.”

Thought this was an amazing deal - turned out to be "buyer beware". This B&B re-opened recently under new management, which I was hoping would mean they'd be at the top of their game to try to win good reviews. Not the case. The interaction with the owners was indifferent. The room/bathroom needed repair and updates. The breakfast was inadequate self-service. The location is not really near the town center - it'd be walkable, but it's a long walk and not one I'd want to do with bags. I get the impression the folks who are running the place don't really know what they're doing yet. This is less expensive than other island options - but you have to be honest with yourself if you're looking for a good deal or a good time. With this B&B you won't find both.

“Vineyard Haven Best B&B”

The hotel is clean, close to town center. The owner and the manager are very polite and ready to help all the time, would suggest where to go and what else possible to see on the island. Room is clean, has TV (if someone would even need it....) . Breakfast is good. We enjoyed our stay and will be back to this hotel next year or maybe even this year.

“Best for the price”

Nice location to center of the town. Nice small house with good outside pool. Good service with all needed amendments. Be careful in selection of your room, all of them have sufficient different value. But if you are not picky too much it is right choice for relative low price.

“Terrific place! A GREAT value!”

We travel all over the world for business & personal - been going to MV for 25 yrs. Room was large, clean & we met two of the brothers from the family who own it. Nice folks! Place was recently renovated. Breakfast was as advertised - on 2nd day brother made me yogurt cup with fresh fruit! We like to eat in town with family & friends - that sure took the edge off! Didn't use pool but looked great. Lots of parking. Shower blasts with lots of water! loved it! Best value for the money on the Island.

“Just needs one thing”

Room darkening shades would REALLY make all the difference. Otherwise, very pleasant, not the easiest to find, website was a little confusing with the names of the rooms - they are the different sections of Martha's Vineyard - so I thought we were staying in West Tisbury, not Vineyard Haven! ? ! Our room was nice, own bathroom, just WAY too bright in the morning. Very pleasant.

“Pretty good and stuff”

Not bad, clean, close to stuff, but the breakfast portion of "bed and breakfast" left something to be desired. Muffins in saran wrap, opened cereal boxes, and suspicious fruit.
