"Not very impresive"
I could have been dissapointed cause there was no people around, it was very lonely, if there were any toher guests I didn't see them. What really turned me off was the controls for the TV and the A/C being tied to the side tables...what kind of guests do they get??? and there is no cable TV so if you don't speak french...to bad for you. But as I said I was only there for a day, maybe during the high season it becomes a more active place to be.

"disappointing"
This hotel has a relais and chateaux designation but does not live up to the label. We were there for 3 days and nights in one of the least nice rooms with no view of anything but the back of a building so that may have coloured our view somewhat. Also annoying was the fact that the cleaning staff used our doorway to store and park their cleaning carts so it was sometimes like negotiating an obstacle course to get into our room . The rooms were well set up and comfortable except for a terminal lack of lighting. The bedside lights were so dim that we could not read after dark. This was probably the most annoying thing about the room. In other situations we have gone out and purchased a better light bulb and substituted it but the way it was set up, that could not be done. The food was disappointing - breakfasts were good but the quality of the dinners was erratic- overcooked the fish and vegetables and wholly uninspired room service menu and food. Location is nice but beach is small and on a shallow lagoon so ocean swimming is not great. Water sports are provided but we were unable to use many of them as they were booked out. If we had not had a car and left the property for most of the day, there would not have been a lot to do. So all in all, it was nice enough but had no real soul and nothing to make you want to return. Certainly not worth the price. The island, on the other hand is lovely and unlike most of the other Caribbean islands has a wonderful road system.

"Lovely hotel with super helpful staff"
The hotel has recently been refurbed, so room was very fresh and modern feeling. Pool, and pool bar, were lovely and relaxing. Several restaurants and bars close by to choose from in the evening - really excellently located I would say. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - the room had a Lavazza coffee machine, but being English I had tea bags with me and wanted to make my own cuppa, so they went out and bought a kettle! I would highly recommend.

"Very good hotel"
I am writing on behalf of my client Mr Michel Clermont. He thought that they may need to improve the bed in his room. Bathroom door was annoying. May need to change the green color and the direction from which it opens. The location is excellent. There is a shopping facility within walking distance. The beach is lovely. The hotel in general is very comfortable and welcoming.

"A quiet and pretty beach resort, good for families"
The hotel grounds are very pleasant. A pedestrian plaza runs between the buildings, while grassy lawns with palm trees and singing birds surround the cluster of buildings. The rooms have large porches or balconies with mini-kitchens and dining tables. In addition to our large balcony, we had three rooms--a large living room with a sleeper sofa, a bedroom with a double bed, and a very small room with two twin beds. The hotel grounds are adjacent to uncrowded beaches with nice sand. We prepared most of our own meals using our mini-kitchen, but we liked the buffet restaurant at the hotel the one time we had dinner there. My one complaint is that we had maid service only once during our 8-day stay, and they did not supply us with additional bathroom soap. Many of the hotel staff spoke some English, but things will be easier for you if you speak some French. It is very useful to have a rental car if you are staying at this hotel; we used our car to drive to supermarkets and to drive to various hiking trails (e.g., the Caravelle peninsula, and the Mt. Pelee volcano). Overall, it was an excellent hotel, and we would stay there again.
