“Thank you for a great birthday experience!”

The location is great. Very close to the casino and nearby resturants/shopping. There was a complimentry shuttle to the casino. The service is always great and everyone is very polite.

“Great value!”

I picked this hotel because the Inn at the casino was booked up except for very expensive rooms. Great choice!! Hotel was right down the street from the casino and they had a shuttle that ran about every 10 minutes back and forth run by the casino. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Definitely would go back!!

“wouldn't stay anywhere else!”

The hotel is right down the road from the casino and races, not in walking distance but they have a free shuttle service that can take you there and back 24 hours a day. our room was very nice and well kept, hotel staff was very friendly and for the amazing price of the room for a weekend I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

“All Well Ends Well”

Spending an enjoyable evening losing money at the casino, nothing tops the trip like a good night rest at the Holiday Day Inn Express in Charles Town, West Virginia.

“Terrible Smoke Smell”

The smells of this hotel were horrible! The 1st floor reeked of chlorine from the pool (which was outside), and the 2nd & 3rd stunk of cigarette smoke. The smoke smell was made worse by the automatic air fresheners posted every two feet down the hall. Since the bathroom was located right inside the door, you could smell the smoke inside your room.....that's how strong the smell was. The only way to escape the smell was to stay over by the bed & window. I have no idea where the smell was coming from because all the rooms seemed to have a "No Smoking" sign above the room number. I know they have some smoking rooms, I just have no idea where they were located. The bed was also very uncomfortable, a little too hard. The location was great & the staff very friendly. The continental breakfast was hot with a wide variety, and the hotel itself seemed pretty clean. But the smoke smell was so bad, it really ruined my experience. I will not be going back to this hotel because of it.

“Best in Charles Town”

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice atmosphere and accomodations. Clearly the best place to stay in Charles Town.

With the casino and race track, that adds a flare to your travel. Then just a few minutes down the road, there are hiking trails and historical landmarks in Harpers Ferry. Great place to relax and unwind with plenty to do as well.
