Thank you for your lovely review and delighted you enjoyed the restaurant.I fully appreciate your preference to having carpet rather than the solid wood floors, but when the rooms were refurbished the consensus was wood was a better fit for the contemporary style of the rooms & more hygienic. Dear TimothyI am very sorry that you were disappointed breakfast was not included. Bookings made direct with the hotel always include breakfast but not when booked through 3rd party travel agents. Dear Alison,Thank you for your review, great you enjoyed your time with us. All rooms have patio doors, and there is a lock to secure them in an open position overnight, My apologies if that was not made known on arrival.All of our rooms are double or twin, extra children's beds are only assembled if booked/required, again, apologies if this appears odd, I think you requested two extra beds? They are designed to store under the main bed, and have full-size mattresses, but I will check them immediately to make sure they are in good condition.We hope you will stay again if in Somerset, and appreciate your time to review our facilities.

Hi Paul. I am sorry to hear you didn't feel breakfast was good value at 15 per person. A lot of guests have a 3 course breakfast and our charge really is cost price.Kind Regards

Thank you so much for your great score.The Standard Double you booked are the smallest in the hotel, but I have noted this on your guest record and should you stay again we will be delighted to get you a bigger room. The Luxury Double Garden Rooms are great.

Thank you for your review. I do hope you will try us again, perhaps when there is a little more atmosphere. Certain days during winter can be quieter but spring & summer are normally sold out.

Thank you John for a great score.Sorry if the beds are too high, all new beds seem to be slightly higher, and our mattresses have inbuilt toppers which probably adds a couple of inches.Apologies if the description is misleading, our description says 'set in' three & a half acres,.Hopefully, the lovely views of the countryside made up for it.We hope to be of service should you be back in the area at any point.
