“Good for business”

Great hotel, from a practical perspective: right next to the motorway, close to restaurants and gas. The building seems quite new and everything is in good shape. The lobby is nicely decorated and built, definitely not just another lobby. The rooms are large and clean. The people at the reception are very friendly. Overall a very good experience.

Area recommendations
There are a few good restaurants very close. The Hotel staff gave us also some good directions to good places. The airport of Mason City is also very close.

“Ok”

The hotel is adequate. It is clean and the staff is helpful. The breakfast is typical and marginal - cold cereal, min assortment of bread/bagel/muffins. But the accomodations are starting to look worn.

“Would definitely stay here again.”

This was a nicer room with a fireplace and a hot tub in the room so it was large very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. They had an adequate continental style breakfast and even put it out earlier for guest that were leaving for the event earlier than six o'clock. The service at the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful.

“travelers from Des Moines”

We were traveling on Memorial Day weekend. Returning from a day with family and friends which had been delightful and we were happy that our day could end with a pleasant stay at Americinn in Clear Lake. We would definately stay again.

Area recommendations
Didn't go outside the area surrounding the hotel. But, there are many fast food and other restaurants almost next door to the hotel. There is also a gas/convenience store, evrything we wanted for an overnight stay.
