Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: This hotel seems old. Furnishings seemed old, walls looked old. It needs to be brighter and more up to date with appearance and furnishings.
I booked online with expedia and I will never do this again. I felt that the room price was way more than it should have been. Plus I was upstairs and there was no elevator.

easy to find

Pros: The on line price was in my range.
Cons: Communication between online booking agent and hotel. Friendly hotel staff.
Location: we only stayed there because it was the only place left close to the Tree City Festival.
Got to the Clairon and front desk clerk was pleasant, got to our room and it was a KING SMOKING room, not at all what I had booked on line. So we took our bags all the way back down to the lobby. I proceeded to tell them it was the wrong room and they said that was what they were told I had booked. They told me their was a Holiday Inn down the street, I said fine if they were paying for it. I had already paid for my room on line and there was a NO REFUND policy. He then went and got the manager who then tried to tell me, It was the fault of the booking people on line. I was also told they didn't have any other rooms available at all. I gave them my confirmation number and then was asked to PROVE that i had booked a room with two beds and non smoking.REALLY?? Ok i was given access to the lobby computer to retrieve my email (thank god I had saved it) while I was getting that they finally found a room that was "just canceld" So make sure you take your email confirmation with you to be sure you get what you booked. the "hot" breakfast was ok the usual fair.nothing really hot about any of it.

Second rate motel

Pros: Breakfast was good.
The room was VERY disappointing. The security lock did not work at all and the room temperature couldn't be adjusted. The hot water took way to long to get to the faucet. We will never stay there again.

Great hotel. Pictures aren't accurate

The hotel and the staff was very great. The kids loved the pool area and the exercise room was decent enough. The rooms were decent size. I had an issue with the front desk since the pictures that are posted at hotels.com make the rooms look bigger than they actually are. The breakfast was really good and had a great variety to keep everyone pleased. Overall a pretty good stay.

Bad and Getting Worse

We've stayed here quite a bit over the last few years. We keep coming back because we have a child and this hotel has a nice large pool area, and a hot tub that is actually hot. BUT, those are the only redeeming qualities. It is in serious need of a complete update. Rooms are depressing. Apparently housekeeping thinks so, too, because they never even bothered to show up to ours. We were out of our room from 9AM - 5PM and our room was ignored - no fresh towels, beds unmade, garbage still left. When we discovered this and complained, we were given no apology or explanation - just passed a couple of fresh towels. Finding a different hotel next time.

Our three-night stay was quite pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the free breakfast every morning.
