“Long way to Paris”
We chose this hotel because of the 3rd night free offer, which put it into our price range. We knew this hotel was a long ways from Paris, but we had a car, and also were visiting Versailles, so it seemed like a good compromise. Unfortunately, for going into Paris, it took between 45 minutes and 90 minutes, each way--much longer than we thought it would take (being only about 13 miles away).
The hotel is only a couple of years old, and in very good condition. No problems with our Expedia booking on check-in. All as advertised, no surprises. The hotel staff spoke good to excellent English. The hotel does charge 11 euro/day for parking (in a small garage with tight turns, and they give you a remote to open the garage door--very handy). The rooms are large (for Europe), with a small kitchen, couch, and desk area. Very clean.
The hotel is in the middle of a business district, with a few other business hotels. We didn't see much to do around the hotel vicinity. Since we didn't spend any time there, it was no big deal. But, if you don't have a car, not sure what there is to do within walking distance. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant, so can't comment on that.
Overall, the hotel itself was very good. It is a business hotel, not a tourist hotel. It was great to take a swim and relax in the hot tub, while washing our clothes (about 5 euro and they provide the soap), and then return to the room to have our cold wine & cheese waiting for us in the refrigerator.
