Standard room with two queen size beds, comfortable beds, TV, tea making facilities and good supply of tea/coffee/milk, room compared very favourably in size and comfort to hotels we have recently stayed at in USA and Europe. Nice tiled bathroom with excellent shower and plenty of hot water plus complimentary toiletries. Everything very clean and well looked after. If you have children there are different activities for them would certainly keep them amused. Indoor pool plus spa pool, which was too cold to enjoy that was a disappointment, large outdoor pool and exercise room. Small patio for each room with wooden picnic table unfortunately we did not sit out the table and seats were very dirty, travelling light so did not want to have clothes marked, and also table had an area on top where the wood was rotten. Ond could dine at the Grill Room, nice food but too expensive for us, same as their breakfasts, we took our own supplies so it was not a problem. Café Solway appeared to be quite nice close to the Driving Range but when we turned up for cake and coffee was very disappointed at the small selection of cakes available. Saying all this we would stay at this hotel again without any hesitation.
