Very good hotel well situatedPosted Aug 1, 2014
Easy to find and we were made welcome by the staff. Room spacious clean and comfortable. Easy to get to the castle and to the station . We particularly recommend the City Art Museum about a ten minute walk away.

Very convenient hotel for the castlePosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Clean and modern
Very Helpful staff, but for recommendation about restaurants ask the tourist info office at the station, rather than the hotel staff

Cons: Directions to the hotel from Expedia
Loved everything about this hotel, it's location, the service, the upgrade to the suite - very deluxe! Our only frustration was finding the place. We decided to walk from the train station to stretch our legs after a longish train journey. The google map link provided by Expeida was not at all helpful, in fact misleading. When we put the address provided into Google Maps it took us in an entirely different direction. The issue is that google maps does not recognise the hotel name. The name it does recognise is HOTEL HARMONIE BIEN, which is attached to the Matsumoto Marunouchi Hotel, so if you relying on google maps use that name.

Perfect stay!Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Everything was just perfect, from a to z, well done!
amazing hotel, I had a few requirements for the room and it was completely followed which made our stay just perfect. The rooms are spotless like if they were brand new, well designed and the bed and pillows are awesome. The staff was brilliant, quick check-in, quick check-out with all the politeness and kindness Japanese people always offer. We were also provided with a router to make sure we have a perfect signal for Wifi in the room, first time this happened to us and it was so useful, whereas other hotels we stayed in cannot even give you a reasonable signal for a upper category of hotel. The breakfast was perfect also, a mix of japanese and continental food and good service. A general tip regarding the city is not to arrive too late in the evening, as most of the restaurants will take the last order at 8pm, which was unexpected for us. To put it in a nutshell, this is the place to stay when you go to Matsumoto, do not hesitate.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in.Posted Apr 18, 2014
Perfect in every way...location, staff, price, but most of all...internal decor, which was beautiful without being pretentious.
