Nice locationPosted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: It was close to shopping, activities and resturants.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard.
Location: There was the submarine ride and aquarium nearby. The drive to hana is worth it! The drive to the south was also great at sunset. Attend a luau.
Overall the trip was awesome. Be sure to attend a luau and take part in the activities. The beach was a bit rough but otherwise it was great. Be sure to try the banana bread on the way to Hana and stop at the various waterfalls on the way there.

Our room at the Aston was very nice and clean.Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Up to date kitchen. Great Location
Cons: Slide in pool. The pool was boring for kids.
Location: We went to several nearby beaches. The beach right in front of the hotel is the best.
Loved the room. My kids loved the pool, but wish there was a slide. Hotel in a great location. Great beach

Luxury Holiday apartment, close to Beach,Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: As above
Cons: Improve customer relations by staff members, particularly the reception desk people.
The beach is very close, swimming pools and gardens immaculate. Value for money was great, and my stay was amazing. The room facilities were excellent, and I would recommend this. The only downside was the disinterested reception staff who didn't appear to welcome guests ....

Spacious room, good location.Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: The location was great. Right on the beach and close to shopping. 2 different pools. It was quiet which was great.
Cons: The wallpaper in the room defiantly needs to be replaced. Dated and stained in spots. Same with the textured celling.
Location: On the beach. Close to shopping, general store on the place whose prices weren't much worse than the grocery store. Only about 5 mins to Lahaina.
The room was spacious. Had a kitchenette and a spacious bathroom. The wallpaper was dated and stained in places. Had a nice sized balcony with table and chairs. Wifi was great. Router in the room. TV was awesome. Large screen smart tv. Overall we were happy with the room. The restaurant on the place wasn't my favorite. We ate there the first night and was spendy and not great. However the place had several grills for guests use. We grilled fresh fish a couple of times while there.

Quiet bit of paradisePosted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Update the units - each is owner decorated but there probably needs to be a certain standard. Get rid of the road ;)
Location: See above
We like the villas. Yes, some units are dated, but its a quiet friendly place. You never fight for a lounger - people take their stuff with them, because everyone does so there are always seats (how many towels are the main occupants of loungers at big resorts?). The grounds are beautiful. We had to move units this time as the traffic is so loud on the four lane highway behind the condos, that we couldn't sleep. But the staff were very accommodating in helping us change condos to a poolside one (for an upgrade fee, but we slept). It's right on kaanapali beach -the quiet side, you can walk to Whalers Village and Lahaina is just down the way. We like to eat in so the kitchens are great. We travelled with a 15 and 17 year old, and they want to go back, even when offered the more active area of Kihei. Think that says it all!

A true blessingPosted Jan 5, 2015
We were fortunate to stay in Maui Aston Villas and it was truely a blessing. We stayed in an ocean front two bed loft apartment; It was so much like home. The warm and inviting colors in the room. Granite counter tops in the kitchen and very large two sink bathroom. Full size refrigerator, dish washer beautiful living area and dining. Lots of care went into this place and the staff was phenomenal in how they cared for this complex. This was our first visit to Hawaii the staff and the owner of our place made it better than we could have imagined.

Great concierge, great location, but old roomsPosted Dec 31, 2014
Pros: concierge and location
Cons: comfort of the room itself
Location: The road to Hana is a must, and I can only recommend to do a guided tour.
The concierge did an awesome job. I can only recommend the welcome briefing. For some activities however the internet rate is better if you book at least 5 days in advance. The location is great. We had a suite, very well equiped (we could really cook) but the bed and the bathroom were old and old-fashioned. I would recommend this hotel if you want to save some money to do more activities.
