Nice condo, beautiful grounds, close to beach

Posted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: the grounds were beautiful, close to beaches, and good snorkeling, close to good yoga studio.
Cons: The pillows and furniture could be upgraded or at least replace torn couches.
Relaxing, quiet, great snorkel beaches, we really appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards left by previous guests.

Unpredictable Quality

Posted Feb 9, 2015
All units are privately owned and maintained. This means some of the units are in disrepair and not really able to be properly cleaned because of mildew and overall wear. It appears units are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The first unit we were assigned had mildew in the showers and carpets so badly stained we didn't want to walk on them without shoes. We did get reassigned to a better unit and the staff were helpful in this. We would suggest not renting units which do not measure up to the standard of an economy motel. The overall reputation of the complex is at stake.

Surprising cost

Posted Feb 8, 2015
Mandatory housekeeping fee of $75+ regardless of length of stay? I stayed for 2 nights by myself, seems ridiculous. No other hotel/condo i've stayed charged for this before. If I stayed for a week with 2 or more people, then I may see it justifiable as there may be a bunch of additional cleaning. Also if it is mandatory, it seems like it should just be put in with the room costs and advertised as such. I don't mind the resort fee as it seems everyone charges for that nowadays.

Nice condo complex

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: We liked the entrance, the grounds with the landscaping, the overall look, the fact that is close to the beach.
Cons: A schedule for noise maintenance and cutting grass for the complex and the neighbours. Beach chairs, body boards in good condition etc.
We were staying in building #9 and all day long, on the street bording the complex, it was a lot noise. I think it is better to have a schedule for your complex and your neighbours, when you should be aloud to cut grass and do noisy maintenance because people need to have the siesta. If you are a first time visitor and you come from Wailea to Kihei, there is no sign to announce the condo complex.

Okay hotel, close to beach

Posted Jan 24, 2015
The hotel grounds itself were nice. We had an issue with people parking in our designated spot. The room was okay. Dated, but nice. However, it was not very clean! Visible dirt on floors, counters and in the bathroom. For paying a cleaning fee - the room did not reflect the service!

Nice condo close to beach

Posted Jan 16, 2015
We were upgraded to a two bedroom - since the one bedrooms were over booked, but on the 9th night we were moved. It was a much nicer, not as great a view, but updated decor - same layout. So, they are different. I loved my Maui vacation!!!

Long Time favorite

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, location and friendly staff.
Cons: More visitor parking spaces. Difficult to park when renting more than one car or family members from the island visit.
Location: Enjoyed Kamaole Beach and closeness to ABC store, Denny's, Lapperts ice cream shop etc.
We've been coming here fore years. Love the location across from Kamaole Beach and quick access to Piilani Hwy without having to drive through Kihei Town. On this trip our condo had to be changed and management gave us wonderful service with the arrangements. All staff personnel( especially front desk) were pleasant and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!
