The hotel was nice, large room and courteous staff. Over price for a place where the elevators are slow and no formal restaurant.

Overnite in Kahului

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Location and shower
Cons: See the Experience portion above
Location: See above
Had to be out of the house as work being done. Called to see if a room was available and if they had a Kamaaina rate as most hotels do on Maui. Woman who answered phone told me they "were doing so good we don't NEED Kamaaina rates" and that they were full up. I went to Expedia to double check availability and there were rooms left. A bit pricey, I stayed on Big Island at Sheraton at Christmas, a full resort, at 2/3 the price of this Airport Hotel. At $300 bucks for the night they were willing to "sell" me water and only charge me $10 to park my car. But it was clean and the shower was good. The refridgerator was in a cabinet that must not have had much good ventilation because when we opened the door of the cabinet we would get a blast of hot air. Because we knew our way around town, we concluded that as far as location, it is in a great spot, easy in and out and around, so there was no need to eat at the little eating area they have. Kinda like a deli, but nothing special. We went out to places we know. Rainy, so no pool use. As much as I tried I couldn't gt the wi-fi or the ethernet to get my laptop going, but the smartphone connected. TV was okay. The folk who we dealt with AT the hotel were friendly, but the woman who had answered the phone and made the snooty Kamaaina remark wasn't condusive to a positive experience and left a nasty taste in the mouth.

What a blessing!

Pros: It was conveniently located close to the Airport and shopping centers. It had lots of open parking. The room was clean, spacious and quiet.
Cons: More umbrellas for guests. It rained heavily and not enough umbrellas to loan to guests.
Location: Close to airport, close to shops, close to main highways.
We needed to find a room in town to attend a funeral and all hotels were booked. I actually reserved the last room at a filthy hostel as a backup. Thank God there was a cancellation at your wonderful hotel so that we didn't need to stay at the filthy hostel and had convenience to the mortuary and site for the scattering of ashes next morning. The staff was great, the room was clean and roomy and very comfortable. I will highly recommend to others and return myself for sure!

Nice hotel. Clean and friendly. Would have liked it better if it had another more formal restaurant. Also, smokers like myself do not wish to upset anyone by smoking near them. Was happy to walk to the smoking areas, but there was no place to sit in any of them. Standing by an ashtray in the sun is not ideal.

Expensive Convenience

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: It was convenient to the airport and Costco
Cons: The Bathroom cleanliness.
Location: Costco. Fly.
We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way through Maui from Kauai heading back home. It was relatively clean (except the bathroom... read: "watch-springs" on the soap). The staff were extremely well trained. In fact, they all said the same thing to you, verbatim, every time you saw one of them, with a plastic smile plastered on their faces. That's cool, I'll take that over untrained rudeness. The "Bistro" pizza was a $15 DiGiorno pizza, and a lame happy hour. The pool was clean, conveniently close to Costco and the airport. If you need to be close to the airport at Kahului then stay here, for one night, I wouldn't stay longer though!

Nice, convenient hotel for a short stay.

Pros: Convenient location before a flight.
Our flight arrived on Maui near 10 pm and we were catching a commuter flight the next morning to the Big Island. The Courtyard Maui Kahului Airport hotel offered an airport shuttle so there was no need to rent a car for the short stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel has a nice outdoor pool and seating area. As indicated in the title, it's right near the airport and in a high traffic area so it may be too noisy for a longer stay but was perfect for our needs.

Excellent option near the airport

Pros: Staff
Cons: Master light was annoying.....couldn't get to the bathroom in the middle of the night without turning this on and waking my husband.
Location: Traffic noise on our side of the hotel was annoying through the night. Ask for a room on the other side :)
Fantastic staff, great bistro, comfortable room, excellent facilities
