Tiny room, over priced

Posted Jan 28, 2015
For all the other options in Maui I'd say stay at a condo over this tiny room (way smaller than an average size hotel room). Everything in Kihei is a short walk to the beach that this oceanfront is really not worth it. Plus no kitchette, easy accessible laundry and farthest away from any stores

Nice hotel, close to the beach and Kihei strip.

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Right on the beach and comfy bed.
Cons: More than one towel each would be great.
Location: Right on a beautiful beach with soft sand. Close to Kihei strip with lots of shopping, restaurants, snorkeling, all water activities 3 other beaches.
Hotel was good for the value. Most hotels in Maui are expensive. Rooms were small but fit our needs as we were out all day swimming, snorkeling, site seeing. We just needed a clean room, with comfy bed and nice shower. This hotel is right on the beach and this beach has the softest sand of them all. Watched beautiful sunsets at night from our room and the beach below.

Low end well kept hotel, nice location.

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Clean, well kept, great location, friendly staff.
Cons: No amenities. No beach amenities what so ever. The room was too small to be improved.
Location: On the beach with very nice restaurants on either side. Very nice. Not far from other beaches or from Wailea golf resorts and high end shopping.
The staff were pleasant and helpful. The Hotel is reasonably well kept, very clean but the room was very small. The toilet ran continuously and there was no vent or fan in the bathroom. The window opened on to a busy area so at night with the bathroom light on one was a little exposed unless there was minimal ventilation. The Hotel had no beach services or beach chairs. The price was lower than other facilities but really not enough to make up for the lack of services. Next door or actually on the same grounds using the same parking lot and using up 8 of the few parking spots is a VERY NICE little restaurant that fronts on the beach. To me that was the highlight of the stay at that hotel. The tables were open to the air and looked out on the beach that was just feet from the restaurant. The food was excellent. On the other side of the hotel was another larger Hotel/resort that had an excellent more elegant restaurant that was also very very good. Bottom line? I would find somewhere else. There are condos for rent that are much larger for less money that are much bigger and nicer. For not a lot more money a nicer hotel or resort hotel would also just be a nicer situation for a vacation on Maui. That said, the Days Inn was clean, well kept with a friendly staff. Just not my cup of tea.

Pros: close to the beach and the value
Cons: rooms need a little work, the front desk staff needs a little more customer service lessons
Location: two nice restaurants, a small shop, the beach
it was good. Good location and quaint. room was small but clean. furniture needs some work. Smart to put tile down on the floor instead of carpet. Easy to clean. Good value, good spot and close to everything

We had a wonderful stay at this location. We had two reservations for this hotel. The front desk (I wish I had asked for her name) helped us get a room closer to the ocean and also moved our bags for us to the new room on the latter reservation. Rooms are good and the tempur pedic mattresses helped get a good night's sleep (which is required if you want to wake up early for a Haleakala sunrise :D ) Excellent staff, clean and nice rooms.

Noisy!!

Dont stay here if you are looking to sleep at all! You can hear everything, people beside us talking at 3:30 am. Then at 6 you can hear the hotel staff start working outside. No sleep.

Very good stay; excellent location

beach is walking distance with restaurants nearby; our room was clean and housekeeper came by everyday; free parking and free wifi; for the price I would definitely consider staying here again

Thank you for your comments, we are happy you enjoyed the beach access just steps from our doors and that our staff was friendly; we hope you choose us again when visiting Maui.
