"Beautiful resort , most refreshing experience "
Beautiful hotel, beautiful beach, friendly staff - what more to say? Kids had a great time as well. Only point to note: bed mattress not that comfortable, I have slept on better ones. All in all a wonderful experience and I will recommend highly.

"Great Hotel. Oceanside at Kaanapali. "
Very nice stay at the Marriott on Kaanapali. Rooms with a view of the ocean/beach are worth the extra money. Three nice pools. Grounds are immaculate. Restaurant is very good. Will definitely return to this hotel.

"Bed so comfortable it was hard to leave"
We stayed here at the end of our trip. We were tired and had been moving around a lot so to come to this super clean and comfortable hotel was great. The king sized bed was ridiculously comfortable and with the air conditioning, it was actually hard to go out and do things. We spent a good part of one day just lounging around watching tv on the bed! I am usually very active but I could barely pull myself away from the comfort. On the whole it was a lovely hotel. It was a bit impersonal, just like a nice hotel you could find anywhere. Across the road was a fantastic beach which was great for swimming and watching the sunset. The sand there is so soft and it was fairly popular beach but not too crowded. I would go back there again if I was in Kihei. The pool was nice enough but not very deep and better for lounging than proper swimming. One night there was a drunk guy in the pool who seemed like he wanted to chat and I ended up leaving because he was being kind of annoying. I guess that is the hazard of a pool next to a bar. It seemed like a fairly laid back bar in general (not a place to get wasted and loud) so it was probably not that common.

"Fantastic anniversary at a fantastic hotel!"
My husband and I travelled to this hotel for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The resort was beautiful and the service was incredible. We were very kindly treated to a fabulous room upgrade (ocean view suite) and they sent a bottle of bubbly on our anniversary. All of the hotel's amenities were beautifully kept, the beach was fantastic (and you could enjoy long walks along it) and the attention to detail by all service providers (waiters, beach staff, pool staff etc.) was A+. We had a great time and would recommend the place to all!

"Lovely hotel shame about the service"
The hotel has excellent bedroom spaces. It is also a spread out property so not too close to other hotels like most of the ones in Kanaapali. Some more shades would be nice such as cabanas or more trees! Best of all, I wish the staff could be a bit more friendlier and give service with a SMILE. Housekeeping is hit and miss and my phone request for something was never done despite the fact that I spoke to someone on the phone, called again after over an hour and left a message.
