Nice Rooms, but awkward to navigatePosted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Very nice rooms and EXCELLENT showers - a big deal since you spend a lot of time rinsing sand and salt off in Hawaii.
Cons: I would certainly like to see a better, more central parking situation and better room access with improved path lighting.
The hotel was nice. Excellent presentation and very nice suites. However, be prepared to walk - the parking was far from rooms (valet was further). Due to the separate buildings (four suites per) spaced out around the grounds and connected with paths, leaving the room and coming back were a pain; we finally started entering through the service road since our building was close to it. The grounds are on a slope so the walk was inclined as well. Tiring when you are on vacation. The other glaring issue was that the lighting on the path to our building was out the ENTIRE time we were there. Very dark and potentially dangerous. I mentioned it to the staff several time but nothing was ever changed. Parking was also challenging - very tight spaces and few of them. Had to let my wife out before I pulled in and then slither out of the door. Further complicating the parking issue, was the fact that the hotel and restaurant staff parked in the limited spaces. Overall the facilities were nice but it was fairly inconvenient for a 4+ star hotel. About a mile of driving to the beach each way, but the beach staff was decent, but it was evident that the beach front hotels were the big boys on the beach and Hotel Wailea was just wedged in between them.

편안하고 조용한 휴식Posted Nov 9, 2014
편안하게 쉴 수 있어서 너무 좋았습니다. 조용하고 넓은 방은 이후 일정인 와이키키에서 계속 생각나게 하였습니다! 언어 소통 지원 부분은 많이 아쉬웠습니다

Quiet, couple friendly hotel.Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: The suite was spacious with a great view. All rooms and pool were recently remodeled.
Location: Shuttle will take you to shopping, beach and restaurants in Wailea.
We loved our stay at Hotel Wailea. We were concerned about not being on the beach, but the private shuttle service was always quick. We waited no more than 5 minutes and that was only one occasion.

Perfectly updatedPosted Sep 28, 2014
Simple check in. Rooms are in blocks of 4,well separated, and staff bringso your bags the moderate trip to your room. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are now very luxurious, a major change from our last stay. Large rooms are really suites, and have a separate living room with a kitchenette. Rehabilitated pool area also excellent with fans in cabanas. High quality but expensive restaurant on site. Great visit and value.

Great hotel at a relatively convenient location with excellent customer service and hospitality. Awesome complimentary services, including limousine rides, valet parking, wireless internet, beach club access... Loved it and will definitely stay there again! Next time will have to get an Ocean View room.

Top Class Resort with Great ServicePosted Sep 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed at Hotel Wailea for 8 nights and could not have been more impressed. The service, from the valet/bellmen to the front desk staff to the housekeepers, was excellent. The resort felt very quiet and private. Mostly couples looking for a romantic getaway. The resort is spread out over a lot of real estate, so there are always great places at night to relax on the property. As many have stated before, the hotel is not on the beach, but the hotel provides complimentary service in their Mercedes SUVs to take you to the beach (which is phenomenal) and pick you up, so it was not an issue for us. We also had a car, so we drove that mostly to the beach (5 minute drive), which had ample parking. Overall, a great stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again if looking for a romantic getaway.
