Anniversary

Great location! Hotel is older, would be nice if it were updated but who spends much time in their hotel while on Maui? Also you can't beat the price compared to the adjacent hotels.

Best beach, best places to lounge in shade

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The beach. The lawn. The staff -- all so very nice.
Cons: The music at the bar and shows is very loud and lasts till 9 every night. You dont always enjoy it.
Location: Black Rock is just steps away with fish and turtles that come right up to you.You can get a bus a Whalers Village into town for sightseeing.
The rooms are old but clean and totally equal to more modern ones at other hotels in every way. The beach is great and there are so many places to lie in the shade on the lawn. Although the pool is rather small it is never crazy crowded.

I was charged extra fee in this hotel due to breakfast. The staff told us there is free breakfast supplied when the first morning you arrive. But extra charged when we took breakfast.they said it should be different location.

Great beach, good hotel, friendly

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, great beach,
Location: Black Rock snorkeling!
Our second stay at Ka'anapali Beach Hotel was just as relaxing as the first. We wouldn't recommend the restaurant because although food prices are high everywhere in Hawaii and particularly along Ka'anapali Beach, the value here is even less than most. Everything else is great! Love the Hawaiian atmosphere and info that is readily available. This really is Hawaiis most Hawaiian hotel.

Nice & quiet except for loud children in pool.

Very enjoyable entertainment @ the Tiki stage. Really fell in love with the 6 yr. Old hula dancer on Thurs. Night. All the staff very helpful. The food was good @ the Tiki grill. Nice & quiet except for children in the pool. Parents should respect other people's time too.

Great location for beach lovers:)

We attended our friend wedding in Maui. Stayed there for four nights and had a great time. Hotel location is perfect by the beach. They need more restaurants around there otherwise all was great for a 4 star hotel.

Good hotel with lots of things to do near by

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Location
I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. Nice place but a bit outdated. There are many activities at this hotel and they had parasailing available on site, the cost was a good price. The other hotels are near by and offer lots of shops for just about anything you need.
