Nice hotel close to the beach.

Very lovely. Staff is friendly. Cleanliness is a tad bit off but overall a very great experience. Super close to the beach. Great breakfast and great nightly entertainment. My toddler and infant loved it there.

Second Stay

Posted May 18, 2015
This was our second time at the hotel and it was as good as the first! Great location, beautiful grounds and comfy beds. Although a little dated, the staff take great care of the property and you can feel the ALOHA in everything!! We'll definitely stay again.

Didn't want to leave!

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: The welcome breakfast the first morning was nice. It was a full breakfast buffet and information on the activities in the area. Very informative!
Cons: We missed having a microwave in the room. The food in the restaurant/tiki grill was delicious but if you had leftovers there was no way to warm it.
Location: Shopping, snorkeling, beach time, pool time, tiki bar, Luau, magic show, bars, and more.
We were in Hana, Maui for a wedding. We stayed 5 days at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel and we had a wonderful time. There is really no reason to even leave the property. They have everything you could possible want or need (i.e. - pool, tiki bar & grill, restaurant, activities, beach, shopping, etc.).

I Love the KBH

Posted May 16, 2015
I look forward to visiting Hawaii and staying at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel every year. I love the KBH. Situated on the beautiful Kaanapali Beach, it is the most Hawaiian of the hotels and the best value. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, the rooms clean, the beds comfy, the staff cheerful and efficient. Always a wonderful experience.

Great location on kaanapali beach

Posted May 14, 2015
The hotel is located on kaanapali beach. The location is wonderful. The staff are courteous, friendly, and very responsive to our needs. The hotel rooms are old Hawaiian and are in need of a refresh.

Great Hotel in a prime location!! Great Beach!

Posted May 7, 2015
Pros: Overall I was happy with most everything with this hotel.
Cons: I did not eat any food other then the luau and the magic show, the food was very so-so. Leave the hotel and grab some nice local food!!
Location: Great location. If you have a rental car, you can not go wrong with hotel.
This was my first stay at Kaanapali Beach Hotel. I really have nothing bad to say about my stay. The staff was very nice. The room was clean. The beach was beautiful. Overall a great hotel!! The location is walking distance to a small shopping mall and overall pretty close to the attractions in Kaanapali. They do have a nice FREE breakfast where they sell you on some tourist excursions...overall pretty low pressure...So eat the free breakfast and make your excursion decisions. We bought tickets to the Magic Show...(food was ok, the show was great!). We also went to the luau at the hotel...this was so-so. I would probably pass on luau in the future. Overall a big thumbs up on Kaanapali Beach Hotel!!

Overall hotel was decent

Posted May 4, 2015
Overall hotel was decent. Location was good as well. But if you are a young couple do not go there. There is absolutely nothing to do around it or at hotel. For some reason only elderly people stayed there.
