Stay in the posh kaanapoli beach area and save!!

This is a quaint little inn nestled right inside the royal lahaina resort. Is isn't as luxurious and white marble clad as the royal lahaina's rooms but it is comfortable clean and about half the price of royal lahaina's rooms. The great thing is that you enjoy all the same things as them including access to the tennis ranch, luaus every night, pool bar, towel rental, beach activities centre and all the pools and beach amenities. The only reservation was the slow wifi throughout the resort, however the only people complaining about it were united airlines staff staying there as a lay-by. The rest of us had a gorgeous beach to look at instead of a laptop screen

Nice location, but very disappointing.

Pros: Close to the beach.
Cons: Ice machine and an elevator.
Location: Good location close to restaurants, stores, golf courses and the beach.
Great location right on the beach with a beach walking path right out the door. Room was okay for for an older hotel and only an overnight stay, but there was no ice machine or elevator in the building and we had to carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs after 10 - 12 hours of airport/flight time. Very Disappointing.

Not what we expected

Looks much better in the photos than the reality. It is being renovated, but at present we cannot recommend it. The Cottages, part of the same resort but more expensive, were far more to our liking.

Nice hotel with access to nearby resort amenities

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Loved the location. Plenty to do nearby: luau, snorkelling, golf, shopping, dinner entertainment
Cons: Free internet in rooms
Location: Close to Lahaina for whale watching and great luau. Good snorkelling to see beautiful fish
The air conditioning had a problem so we were given a free upgrade to the resort hotel. We loved the location with the luau on site and great beach and pool facilities.

I enjoy the ocean front.

I am a Santa Cruz beach girl who is down to earth so I enjoyed the room for having the comfort we needed. The hotel needs upgrades but I didn't mind at all because Hawaii is beautiful.
