“Loved my week long stay”

I just got back from Maui. Made it a point to review this hotel. Because it was far beyond my expectations! We lived here for the last week of the year. Had a beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains. Our room had a balcony too, which was awesome. They served breakfast too - at $10 - pretty decent I must say. It's a great place to live for cheap. But if you are the type who likes to stay inside the hotel and try spas and all - then this isn't that kind of place. It's a simple sweet hotel. I loved it! Great value for the price.

“Very Convenient”

In all my years that I've been to Maui, I have always stayed in Kihei at a little pricier hotel/condo. However, since I was traveling with my grandson, I wanted something centrally located to restaurants and entertainment. The Maui Beach was a perfect choice. We were right across the street from a shopping mall and there were many eating place within a short driving distance. So, that last minute, "I'm hungry" whine was no problem. Since we are Hawaii residences, we did not need the fancy swimming pools or beaches.

The hotel is located close to the airport, scenic areas, and excellent restaurants. It's also conveniently located by a large shopping mall. The hotel room was in great condition and clean. They offered a nice buffet breakfast. Through Expedia we got an inexpensive rate for two nights which helped us a lot financially. I recommend the Maui Beach Hotel to anyone looking for good value and quality.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The room was very comfortable, the location was ideal for me - in town. They served a nice buffet breakfast in the mornings next to the pool. Overall I was very satisfied with this hotel.

“Comfortable and Affordable”

The hotel is nicely located in town, close to everything you need (malls, eateries, etc.). The hotel is located on the shoreline, but not swimable. You'll have to go down a ways to get to the beach. The rooms were quite small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff was always cheerful and helpful. Spending most of my time site seeing and shopping, I didn't spend much time in the room, so this was the affordable way to go. So if your not into the resort type and just wanting a place to kick back and relax each day, I recommend the Maui Beach.

“Good Hotel for a layover in Kalahui”

Friendly staff at front desk and the oceanfront room was recently renovated, clean and spacious. Bathtub was very large. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodations.

“Best Fit for Lodging”

The Maui Beach Hotel proved to be the "best fit" for our purposes. It was the most "central" to all activities and amenities in Maui. Our room had a pleasant ocean view, the dinner buffet was outstanding, and the pool proved to be one of the favorite activities for our two boys. Having stayed at Kaanapali in the past, in many ways I preferred our stay at the Maui Beach.
