“Good hotel for a night or two stay”

this is a good hotel if you are island hopping and need a place to sleep at. convenient location from the airport and shopping area; nice garden and bay area (not a beach, don't be fooled by the name). It's an average low-priced hotel (relatively speaking) offers good value when you are hardly going to spend time in the room itself. Rooms are small so good for 2 people. Breakfast deal was good.

Area recommendations

Hanna Highway all the way; North end above kanapeli but don't try to make full circle from the north end to east; driving is treachrous for newbies.

“Ok for a short visit”

Good value hotel on Maui. Not 5 star by any means but reasonable and early check in. The desk clerk wasn't very friendly-she never paused in her conversation on my check out to assist me. She continued to speak on her cell phone which was very rude in Tagalog.

Kihei-better value and nicer accomodations.

“Average”

They've made alot of upgrades, the only complaint was the beds were not very confortable and only 2 small pillows on the bed I requested extra pillows and they didn't have extras.

“In a pinch”

When we recieved our room key we opened the door only to find someone was already using the room. Could have been very awkward. Bar closed to soon.

“High Rating for Maui Beach Hotel”

The hotel is located close to the airport, scenic areas, and excellent restaurants. It's also conveniently located by a large shopping mall. The hotel room was in great condition and clean. They offered a nice buffet breakfast. Through Expedia we got an inexpensive rate for two nights which helped us a lot financially. I recommend the Maui Beach Hotel to anyone looking for good value and quality.

Dining

A place you have to dine at is Mama's Fish House in Paia. The seafood is caught daily so it's fresh. The atmosphere is romantic at night: it faces the beach so you see waves coming in. The food and service is great.

“One of the best option for low budget and all day explorer”

This hotel is for those who are spending most of the time out exploring and just use the hotel for night sleep and refreshing. Its located 5-10 minutes drive from Kahului Airport and has a very beautiful back opening towards the sea. A shopiing mall just accross the street is another benefit of getting things immediately. Lots of Food options around the hotel area. Free Internet. The only bad part I find was that the bed was winded with too much springs that made noise and more shaky on even a little move. Probably I might be the only one unlucky to get one of that...

Area recommendations

Lahaina is another good option to stay for the low budget and Kanapali would be the best place if money does not count for you.

Outdoors or beach

When you have some idle time at hotel, Do not miss to Just relax on the back side of the hotel opening towards the sea. nice lawn maintained adn cool breeze will all shades from Palms.

“Hotel Showing Its Age”

Overall was really disappointed with this hotel. Has a nice inner courtyard but the rooms are lacking. - Our room hadn't been wiped down (salsa was baked onto our nightstand) - Beds felt like they were about 20 years old: no support at all - Free breakfast was made up of rubbery pre-made waffles, strange eggs and rice: nothing that seemed fresh and almost no fruit - for a hotel in Hawaii, I was unimpressed. We took our kids to McDonald's for a "second breakfast" which was gourmet by comparison Location was near the airport which is what we were looking for but certainly not a hotel I'd want to stay in for more than 1 night

Area recommendations

Hana and Lahaina areas are beautiful and much better for families. Would recommend this area only to enable taking an early airplane trip.
