Cons: resort fee
Location: shuttle bus to anywhere in certain radius
Wondeful hotel! We loved the room, the lanai, and the service! The pool was great, as the restaurant. The shuttle drivers were great, and everyone was so willing to help, yet we had a lot of privacy.

Nice hotel, close to beach and tons of nearby cafePosted Oct 11, 2014
The hotel room was really quiet, the location itself is excellent with literally beach across the street and a lot of great cafes and restaurants in walking distance.

Fantastic hotelPosted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: Aside from the great staff, free parking, and free in-room wi-fi, are nice bonuses. The gym is fantastic :)
I've stayed at the Maui Coast several times - I love it! The staff are always friendly, and it is close to both the beach and shopping. I also love that it is smaller than the big "resort" hotels - it has a home-y feel, and offers an organic Maui experience....you'll feel like a local in no time.

Close to beachPosted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: one bedroom unit-adequate size, very small patio; air conditioning present&needed; decent quality body wash, shampoo, conditioner in shower dispenser
Cons: bar fridge in room small; counter & sink but no kitchen towels
Location: across street kamoale public beach 1 -beach not crowded at all and is clean; no concerns for personal safety during day; shops/food walking distance
One week stay Sep-2014 with adult child; free parking on site, nightly entertainment at pool bar, expedient service from maintenance -needed twice -once for lightbulb & once for in room safe malfunction. Alarm system in hotel activated twice during stay (false alarm according to front desk) once at 3am -very rude awakening! Couple blocks (ten minute) walk to shops -a few decent food locations (Maui Gelato in Dolphin Plaza excellent-thanks Shannon!) & liquor store. We had rental car so spent time touring -no issues driving although posted limits not followed much on highways except for Hana highway.

Sunny South Kihei HotelPosted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Very clean rooms and hotel overall.
Cons: The rooms need some lighting around the closet area. Also very warm in hallways and elevators as they are not air conditioned, only a/c in the rooms.
Location: Great location across the street from Kamaole beach 1,walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
Checked in upon arriving and was greeted by a friendly lady at the front desk.We got our room on the top floor at the front of the hotel, wasn't sure about the view as it was quite late.Next morning I went out on the lanai and was pleasantly surprised we had an ocean view with Molokini and Kahoolawe in the distance. The junior suite we booked was quite large, comfortable beds, with mini fridge, microwave, and sink.Rooms and hotel itself is very clean, nice pool, two hot tubs, poolside bar,and restaurant.

Hotel close to the beach and local community.Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Close to the beaches, local community and stores. Comfortable room and great amenities. Live music with very good singers at the pool.
Cons: The plants are nice but the combination didn't give me a wow factor. I was impressed with the plants in Onua Khai when I stayed there 2 years ago.
Location: Great location near the beaches and close to the community.
Overall good with some disappointments: 1) the couch/sofa bed in the room is smelly 2) the room was close to the generator that is noisy. So we didn't dare to open the door to enjoy the atmosphere, ended up breathing indoor conditioned air.

Very clean, lots to doPosted Oct 6, 2014
Checked in early, great front counter. The suite was clean and the housekeepers were really attentive to our schedule. Use the bikes, we had a great time biking around. The 3 hour limit is enough to explore and have lunch. Great location near everything you need, bars, beaches, stores all walking distance. The only mark against was the pool bar, took a long time to get a drink most days. But the pool was great.
