Good clean reasonably priced place to stay.Posted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: Good price, good location depending on reason for your stay, clean.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of except maybe to have pool open longer.
Location: Close to airport and nice walking beach outside. Shopping close by if that's what you want. Easy road access to get away from Kahului too.
Hotel was perfect for our purposes which was to stay a couple of days before leaving Maui. Good location and pleasant staff. Nothing fancy but I would recommend it for budget conscious traveler. On site restaurant was also decent and affordable.

Pros: Eautiful spot along beach.
I booked online. The room was nothing like the pictures. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor way the heck and gone down hallways. Sure they have an elevator but you have to walk DOWN 4 steps. We had so much luggage that it just wasn't possible to lug it all that way. Back at the office, they found us a room on main floor near the parking lot gate. Much better.

Budget hotel, great location!Posted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: Very convenient and good rates!
Cons: Free parking instead of the 5.00 they charge per day?
Location: 3 shopping areas right across the street!
We love the location, close to town, shopping centers and the airport. Very basic hotel, something we wanted just to sleep since we spend the entire day sightseeing and visiting friends and family. Rooms are clean, air conditioned or overhead fan, refrigerator and coffee maker with complimentary coffee included. Will stay here every time we visit Maui!

Expensive and disappointingPosted Feb 26, 2014
Cons: Parking, quality of linens and bed. Need to replace carpet and hire better cleaning staff!
We arrived late. I was travelling with my 5 yr old. No place to park in lot. Stay directed me to a empty lot 2 blocks away to park. When I explained I would not feel comfortable walking back to hotel in dark with my little one, they told me it was safe and had nothing else available. I asked if they would consider letting me park my car in one of the 5 loading zone spots and I would move it in am by 7. They quickly said no, despite the fact that they have 5 loading zone parking stalls and not one was being used. The room smelled of mildew, the carpets were dirty, linens like cardboard and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. I would suggest booking other accomodation if you have the option. Expensive for what was provided in return!

Close to the airportPosted Feb 24, 2014
Our flight got in late. The shuttle was there on time to pick us up. Roll away beds are not available. The rooms are old but clean. The grounds are beautiful and the food at breakfast was good. It was close to the airport and a good place to stay after a long flight. It was just fine for a night.

A true Hawaian experiencePosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: staff, cleanliness, windows can open, ceiling fan in the room, quiet
Cons: bigger bathrooms and better ventilation in the bathrooms, earlier times for use of the pool
Location: close to shopping, many different restaurants, close to airport
Even though the hotel is on the more local side of the island , the fact that it is owned and run by local Hawaian people makes it a very pleasant Aloha experience. Definitely better than the high rises on the tourist side of the island. What is nice is that the hotel has another local restaurant attached to the hotel so breakfast, lunch and dinner are easy, with a wide variety of food. The only downside was that the small pool was only open from 9am to 6pm which made it frustrating to go for a quick swim in the morning since I am an early riser and like to get my swimming in between 6 and 7 in the morning.

Good place to sleep; not a resortPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: We were happy with the value and cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff.
Cons: Has a refrigerator; would be handy to have a microwave oven.
Location: Its near the shore for taking a walk or watching the outrigger. Nearby Hideaway Lounge is friendly with good food, great piano player (Francois).
This was a clean, reasonably priced hotel. My wife and I went to Maui knowing we would spend most of our time at the beaches, and decided to stay in a lower priced hotel for 8 nights instead of a destination resort. So it was what we were looking for. If you are used to high-end resorts its not the place for you, but if you rent a car and mostly going to snorkel, hike, whale watch, visit the volcano and not spend many daylight hours in the hotel, why spend the big bucks on a resort? Its about a half hour or 45 minute drive to the greatest beaches, or maybe an hour to Lahaina.

Great location, ocean frontPosted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful, as was lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Cons: Have the breakfast vouchers be for any breakfast, lunch, or dinner menu items up to a dollar amount. Parking on site is an extra fee. :(
Location: see above.
Great location on the Island, central to many fun activities such as Hana highway, shopping, hiking, biking, surfing. Right on the beach. People were fishing right off the rocks, and in the water. Nice pool. GREAT FOOD!
