“Beautiful Kihei Condo”

I would stay there again in a minute!!! It has everything I was looking for I the comforts of home but being on vacation. The condo was stocked with everything from a blender to a boogie board.

“Very Enjoyable!!”

Room was very clean and most available cookware, dishes were on hand for use was very good. Loved the outdoor grilling area and used it quite often it was great, Also the grounds was very well kept and the pool was always ready for use. The mattress on the bed was not so great was my only complaint otherwise it was wonderful and I would come back to Maui Sunset Condo

“Great facilities, good views, can't wait to go back!”

All rooms at the Maui Sunset have great views of the beach and sunset, go figure. The common area was very well manicured. The BBQs were immaculate. The pool was great and they have bocce, croquet, etc. for free. There is also a public tennis court, the condo rents rackets for a minimal fee (pocket change). The beach is right there. The condo has a nice layout except for that the only windows in the bedroom are sliding doors that open to the outside access (motel style) and we were right by the elevator. The bedroom was hot at night but only because we didn't feel comfortable leaving the sliding door open all night and don't enjoy the recycled air of A/C. The rest of the condo (bathroom, kitchen, living room, lanai) was very nice. Highly recommend it, just leave a room for me!

“Excellent hotel, very much recommended for families”

The location of the hotel is excellent. A very good place to walk along to beach but not for swimming. On windy days excellent to watch surfers and It is also a very basis for travelling around on Maui. Rooms very good, everything was there including dish washer and washing machine/dryer. Bathroom and showers seperate including 2 restrooms. Lawn of the hotel very clean (every day cleaning), possibility for barbecue provided, nice but a bit small swimming pool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and already recommending it to friends.

“Great affordable place”

If a full service hotel is what you expect, the Sunset is not it, but if you like quiet, well kept, private, comfortable, well located, and affordable places to stay on the ocean than this is it. We had a wonderful stay and a great trip. Everything was perfect. It was much cheaper and just as nice as many of the competetors in the same area that weren't on the ocean.

“Very good!”

This was my second trip to Maui, first was about 22 yrs ago, my what a change. The maui sunset was an excellent place to stay. Clean rooms, good washer and dryer, great views and very clean grounds. Nice gas grills to use, the only downside was internet access was not included but who should be working anyway...Beach was nice but not for relaxing or swimming, great for walks. Too many other great beaches close for this to be a problem. Overall a great experience!

“Excellent hotel, at a great price”

This hotel is in a great area and has a very large yard for walking dogs, playing games, sunbathing. Its on the shoreline, not good for swimming but good for paddle boarding. The pool area and grounds are great, and spacious. Rooms are quiet and roomy. Great hotel for the value.

“Loved it”

The lawn of this hotel is better kept than some of the fancy golf courses. It was inexpensive and really comfortable and the community was sweet. Great pool and hot tub. And there's an Activities director on location that tells you where to eat and shop for groceries on the island. We are hoping to go back.

“Great place to stay”

Great place to stay...have been to Maui several times and found this place to be clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. Would stay there again.
