I really can't wait to go back! It was like a little piece of heaven!Posted Jan 28, 2010
We had a great time staying at the Maui Vista Resort. The buildings, grounds, pool area etc. was well tended and was very clean. Parking was great and it was reassuring to know that security could be seen at various times in the evening. Our ocean view was great even though we were only on the second floor! The unit was very well equipped with everything that you would need. I would most definately recommend friends to stay there.

An good option: compromise of cost and comfort.Posted Apr 17, 2008
Good: The office personnel is friendly and helpful for our early check-in request; 2wlk 00 meters to great beach Bad: the entrance to the room is too narrow, and the audio privacy (noise isolation) is not good

A good value for the moneyPosted Apr 4, 2008
We were very pleased with the location of the condo to the beach and were able to walk most everywhere in Kihei. Our condo came with beach umbrellas and chairs, etc. The office folks were very helpful and things went very smoothly. A good value for the money.

Good locationPosted Mar 12, 2008
Our bedroom door had a hole punched in it, the hall closet was storage space for an old door & old air conditioner, the bathroom floor trim was incomplete & cracked, and the bed was well used. Nice location with easy access to beach, shopping & dining. We saw other rooms at the same resort that appeared much nicer. Beautiful grounds.

Not ImpressedPosted Dec 26, 2007
I've been to Maui a couple of times and this place was by far the worst. The sheets on the bed were stained which made the nights somewhat uncomfortable. I did bring my own sheets but I was scared to use their blankets. The only couch in this room didn't smell too good and had a filthy yellowish color. My daughter begged me not to make her shower in the tub because the plastic liner was moldy. The pool area was nice and clean but their stairway up to our room had an unpleasant odor the whole time. We could have used the elevator but it was so far away from our room. I wouldn't stay here again.

Unpleasant StayPosted Jul 9, 2007
We had a very unpleasant stay in Maui Vista Resort. There was no staff on the day that we arrived and they didn't provide us the passcode in advance for accessing the key lockbox. We had to make several calls to the property management & expedia in order to obtain the passcode and get the key from the lockbox. The quality of the complex is terribly poor. There is no AC in the bedroom and we were sweating all night long. There were stains on the beddings. Rust in the bathroom. No hair dryer. Very noisy at night. The stay had totally ruined our trip. Never come back!!

Great rates allow you to see MauiPosted Apr 7, 2007
Maui Vista grounds are maintained very well. It has mature landscape, tennis courts and a smaller size, but very nice pool. Access to the beach is excellent, just across the street is Kamaole I - probabbly my favorite beach in the entire Maui. Our unit was very clean, beadspreads looked new. Kitchen was well stacked and we were able to cook the meals there. We were happy to be in Maui, and this was the cheapest option near the beach. We are certainly not dissapointed. One thing to know before going to this apartment style complex is that there is no service. They don't clean or change your towels. I don't believe anyone has entered the apartment during our 10 day stay. We cooked and cleaned ourselves, and washed the towels (there was a small stackable washer/dryer in the unit). This place is great for families or anyone who has budget limitations. They were treating for bugs inside the unit during our stay, and I felt that was not appropriate. They should spray for bugs between the visits. We killed one, and found another dead roach in our unit. Regardless of it, I would again pick this resort to stay on Maui at a very reasonable cost. We are a family of 4 from Midwest and our living standards here are probabbly some of the highest in the country. We could not afford the accomodations that we enjoy at home, but wanted to afford all the experiences an exotic location as Maui has to offer. Maui Vista was the answer.

Just fine for what we neededPosted Feb 27, 2007
The office closes at 5 pm, but they have a phone you can call if you arrive after. Our room needed some repairs, but it was just fine for what we needed. Perfect location!!! Located right across from the beach. The grounds were well cared for. I would stay there again and again.

I wish that was my homePosted Jan 18, 2007
The best vacation I ever had. Includes everything you could need in your trip; across from the beach; 1/2 mile from restaurants, gas and shopping, it was like paradise.
