Exceeded all expectations!!

Posted Apr 19, 2015
The only problem with visiting such a beautiful place is that you have to leave eventually, and the reality of your normal life pales so much in comparison you feel like you were dreaming for a week. But I say better to have loved and lost especially because I plan on visiting the island again and again if I am fortunate enough to do so. The island of Maui is breathtakingly gorgeous and to fully appreciate it a rental car is a must. There is a lot to discover and in 8 days we only scratched the surface. As far as swimming and snorkeling goes there is absolutely no reason at all to leave the resort, tons of fish, whale sightings, dolphins and best of all sea turtles! I swam with several including a 400 lb behemoth that snuck up on me to check me out. AMAZING. Maui and Hawaii= $$$$$ BUT... Our room had a full kitchen and bbq on site and we ate like kings and saved $1000 or so in the process. Very romantic setting although there were a lot of families, but to me a beach with no kids on it is just weird and wrong... that being said if you want to stay up late and drink your face off every night Maui is not the place to go. Try Honolulu instead! We drank plenty but woke up and went to bed super early everyday. It's too beautiful during the day to sleep through it! And no our room didn't have a/c, instead it had a beautiful ocean breeze blowing through the lanai all night... trust me no machine could ever replicate this effect! Best sleep I ever had in my life, and the best trip.

Great Family Friendly resort

Posted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: This resort is not a huge high rise with a ton of people. It is two storied, unassuming, and very comfortable. The staff is great and very helpful.
Location: Napili Bay has wonderful snorkeling and small waves that are nice for kids. The views are terrific.
This resort is located on Napili Bay and has great access to wonderful snorkeling and family fun.

Beautiful lagoon, professional staff, who are not seasonal, feels like you are staying in a community, not a franchise hotel that was dropped on the Beach, this is the real deal

Laid back beach vacation

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Two impressions of Napili Kai: (1) very mellow, laid back feel; (2) excellent concierge staff. This is a great hotel and beach for families with young kids. Fantastic walking path close by for runners and walkers. Happy and Cathy, two concierges who helped me, we're fantastic. Can't praise them enough for their attention to detail and great advice. Thx ladies!!

Terrific location

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Napili Kai was a real treasure in my book. Situated on the beach at Napili Cove it offer d easy access to a wonderful sandy beach and the cove next to it called Turtle Cove earned its name with lots od Sea Turtles to watch while snorkeling. Our room had a full kitchen including an ice maker, the furniture seemed new and was comfortable including the bed. What is even a bigger surprise is that they don't hit with additional cost for parking and a resort tax which can add up to $60 per day. Napili Kai would be good for a family or just the two of you as were we.

Napili Kai Beach Resort

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: All of our needs were met. The place is clean, quiet, the restaurant has healthy choices and everyone was very friendly.
Cons: We loved it all.
Location: Hiking, snorkeling, musical performances, dining is all right there.
We booked this trip the night before we traveled. We were so lucky to find this place. We shuttled from the airport and besides a one-day whale watching trip, and a trip to the grocery store, we never left the property. It was perfect, comfortable and just the relaxation we needed.

All In One

Pros: The location and amenities.
Cons: More activities that discounted or free.
Location: Well you are basically right at the beach, and there are several nearby towns, shopping and restaurants etc.
Wonderful location and amenities, the beach front rooms are great, close to the beach, pools and all the other amenities. Definitely the place to stay for couples and/or families!
