Pros: These are condominiums privately owned. They all have kitchens and the propery is close to the Napili Bay beach.
Cons: Room cleaning should be offered every day, not every third day. Rooms are cooled by overhead fans (no air conditioning), and often it's not enough.
Location: It's a bit far from everything, but it has great beach, is close to the Coastal Trail and the Kapaula Resort, with great golfing and restaurants.
It was our second stay here. We like the property's closeness to the beach, where we would swim every morning and afternoon. Although all rooms have kitchens, there are two restaurants, which serve great breakfast (the Gazebo and nearby Sea House). Almost every morning we could see sea turtles near the rocks on the left side of the beach.

Hawaiian Paradise

Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Position near a great snorkelling spot for spotting turtles. Good amenities included in the price.
Cons: Noise of sprinklers at night was a bit annoying. I felt sorry for the people with ocean front rooms who had Jack hammering going all day.
Location: Great uncrowded beach. Good for snorkelling and turtles. Location was private but not far from other bigger towns for shopping.
Napili Shores was a great location for our 2 days stay on Maui. A much quieter and relaxed setting than other resorts nearer to Lahaina and Kaanapali. With 2 pools to choose from and easy access to the beach we felt we were in paradise. I was a bit disappointed with the position of my ocean view room . Being on the ground floor and halfway up the resort, it was definitely only a partial ocean view and only if you sat outside on the patio. I asked what the units facing the beach were and was told ocean front, so be aware of the difference. There is a great restaurant facing the beach called the Gazebo that was open for breakfast and lunch and extremely popular with great food and the most friendliest staff I have ever met. Expect to line up to get in but worth it. The highlight of my stay here was swimming with the turtles just outside the hotel. They were huge. The bay provided great snorkelling opportunities as well. Room provided all the amenities you needed plus free parking which was a bonus. Would definitely come back here again

Nice Rooms, Beautiful Beach

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: We liked the large rooms and, the availability of a kitchen. The hotel is in a great location, reasonably close to shopping and great things to do.
Cons: I would let people know that there is the availability of rentals. Perhaps a listing of what is available for rental, such as the chairs.
Location: Loction is great, lots of places to drive to and shopping close by. Beaches are close and lots of areas to explore.
Our vacation was relaxing and comfortable. Beautiful beach and fun water sports made the experience even more enjoyable. Lots of things to do, at a relaxed pace. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Views were amazing.

Great hotel close to the beach

Posted Oct 10, 2014
We liked this hotel a lot. Was nice to have a full kitchen. Was right on the beach. It wasn't that big of a deal to not have air conditioning. Called down to the front desk and asked for an extra fan and was able to keep the room at a nice temperature.

Perfect local

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: Ice machine somewhere on the premise.
Location: Beaches, turtle cove, snorkeling, hiking, golf, BBQ, sunset, pools and dining.
World class beaches and coves within walking distance. All the amenities one could want without getting into rena=tal car. Very relaxing. Can't wait to return.

No air conditioning

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Cons: Air conditioning and allow people to stay in the pool quietly after 10:00pm
I understand that in Hawaii there is a breeze! but there was no breeze, and there should be an option to use an conditioner. The room was hot and humid!!. There was no way to leave the front door open to get a cross breeze from the back screen/door. From the front door open the frogs and lizards would have total access to the room. Also, I would recommend if some one is staying for four nights, five days, at least have housekeeping new provide floor mats and bath towels by the second night if needed without an upcharge.

I'd come back here

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Reasonably priced, well kept and comfortable. It was rated as a three star but I would rate it closer to a four star.
Cons: The gazebo restaurant, a highly rated breakfast place on the property, has a 50 person line up starting at 6:00am till noon.
Location: Queen's Treasure Catamaran snorkeling and sailing trip- don't miss it.
We booked this place on a whim for one night because we had to be in the area for a sailing trip. It was very reasonably priced at this time of year. We were so surprized at how nice it was we ended up coming back for an additional 5 days. I'd also come back to this same hotel next time inn Maui. There are no bad rooms here. The rooms that are farthest from the beach face the well kept gardens. Every room has access to the beach through the courtyard. It was a very clientele too.
