This isn't a hotel. It's individual condo's.

There is a resort fee that has to be paid that wasn't mentioned by expedia at all. Fortunately the resort was worth the money even with the fee. There is no daily cleaning but the staff is ready with anything you need at any time.

Nice Hotel on the Golf Course, close to Beach

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Cons: G202 needs a new mattress.
Location: Best Fish Taco's are at Leilani's in Whalers Village. Calamari was great too. Really good snorkel spot at Black Rock is less than a 10 minute walk.
This Hotel is very handy if you want to save a few bucks by not staying ON the beach. Their Beach Cabana was awesome as it includes a fridge for your beer and kitchen to make lunch. We picked this hotel as we were travelling with a little one which allowed him to take a nap in the cabana while we used the beach. The walk to Whalers Village was less than 10 minutes. We booked through Expedia as it has "ALL IN PRICING" compared to prices on VRBO which wasn't apples to apples. Watch out for the added Hotel Tax of ~14% when booking through VRBO. Maui Eldorado has a $12/day charge for Parking/Ammenities Fee + a $75 cleaning Fee which we paid on top of our Expedia Rate. Our unit was G202 which was a POV Studio. Our unit was partially updated but is due for a new mattress. Cleaning crew could have done a more thorough job but overall was mostly clean.

Home each spring break

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: The beach cabana is great! Sit back and enjoy the view!
Location: We enjoy walking down to Whaler's Village! One of our favorite places for breakfast is a short walk away...Cast Aways!
We've stayed at the Maui Eldorado for at least the last 6 years during spring break! We always have a room with a garden room. This year our room was not acceptable. It was dirty looking. The bathroom fan was extremely loud. The tile on the foor was chipped and dirty! We asked for a different room and immediately given a really beautiful room. The counter tops were granite and the decor was unique ! We love the Eldorado!

Nice spacious condo close to Kaanapali Beach.

Posted Mar 12, 2014
We have been to Maui twice in the last four years and both times we have really enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger Maui Eldorado. We have toured every inch of this island and we would both agree that Kaanapali is one of the nicest beaches. The condo was spacious, clean, had all the comforts of home - including washer and dryer. We have stayed in both the J building and the F building and we found the second level F building absolutely wonderful with a breathtaking view. It has two nice pools and BBQ facilities close to both buildings and if you are a golfer there is a golf course right beside the condo's. Just a block up you have a grocery store and restaurants - CJ's is excellent for breakfast (open at 7:30am) and they will pack you a lunch upon request for your trip to the road to Hana. There is an excellent jogging path for those that like their morning run or just a great walk in the evening. Bus and trolley services come right to the front door. Parking facilities are excellent if you are renting a car - above ground and underground parking is available. The front desk staff are extremely helpful and are a wealth of information - very pleasant. The grounds are beautiful and extremely well kept.

Moldy air in rooms and lobby!

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: I liked the views, it's situation in Kanaapali and the activities available.
Cons: lower price, cleaner air and better customer service
Location: snorkeling, paddleboarding, swimming, sunsets and golf
I will say that this is set nicely near the ocean and golf course, but the facility is old and outdated. I got sick while in my room D106 from the moldy ventilated air (which I noticed was just like the air in the lobby) - and I'm a healthy, fit person! The front desk staff also misquoted me their ridiculous cleaning fee to be the wrong room type's and then sat there and argued with me about it, telling me I was wrong (even with my email CFM). This place is SO not worth the $245+ fees I paid for it. Try the Sheraton instead.

Good location in Ka'anapali.

Posted Feb 9, 2014
Have the best beach in Ka'anapali only a 5 minute walk. The cabana on the beach is convenient as it has kitchen facility for your drinks or whatever you want to eat. Bathroom and a shower to rinse off the salt. Waves are lovely to watch and not too rough for swimming. Lovely boardwalk to the north and south for your morning exercise approx. 4 miles long in total. Our room was huge and was updated. Further from the beach yet the walk was easy. Stayed in the B building and on the lower level. Pool just 50 feet from our patio. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet and pleasant stay in Paradise

Posted Jan 9, 2014
Pros: Accessible to beach, golf courses and very well located. We did not have a car but easy to get to Lahaina and Whaler's village.
Cons: See above in our experience.
Location: Close to beach, golf and activities at Whaler's village. Good variety of restaurants to choose from. Local transport helped and cabs easily available.
Everyone was very helpful--first experiencewith this type of room. Did n ot hesitate to send someone to transport me --I had a sore leg. Helpful with directions, cab driver that services them--very dependable. Only real negative--would have liked personnel do our boarding passes--sometimes internet did not work. It was severe weather back home and it would have been helpful if staff could have made boarding passes(when their equipment for guests does not work). Positive suggestions:: When walking on the small road to go thru to the Sheraton Hotel and to Whalers at nite--you CAN NOT SEE the small walking road to take--needs to be a sign on that road(across from tennis courts at Sheraton). We could NOT see at nite so wound up walking all the way to the Royal Kahaina-over a little bridge that was lit up.. They kindly drove us back to our hotel. Just a small sign that says--Ourrigger Eldorado and maybe an arrow. Then as you walk on the dark road--you eventually come to the Maui Eldorado sign and can see a little bit of light from other rooms. The overall experience was quite good and would stay again.

Nice hotel resort close to beach

Posted Dec 6, 2013
The hotel is walking distance to black rock which is the best snorkel site in Maui
