My wife and I and our 7 year old daughter planned a 1week vacation to Napili on the north west side of Maui, and it was everything we excpected and more. We chose to stay at the Outrigger Napili shores and we were treated like family. The resort is a well maintained family friendly resort where everyone can enjoy relaxation and find fun activities to do. We dinned out often, and really enjoyed the seaside restaurant and gazebo restaurant.
We will definitely stay at the outrigger Napili shores next time we visit Maui again, this place was well worth what we paid.

Loved the front desk staff! The flight came in late, so there was someone there after their closing waiting for us (I had called ahead). Our flight was also going out late, well after check out, and we were going on a morning snorkeling trip. Because of occupancy, we weren't able to delay the check out, but we returned to use the outdoor shower and pool facilities to clean up afterwards; no problems with holding the luggage, either. We had reserved and paid for a condo with a king size bed, but only one with a queen was available. Otherwise, an expansive, well kept property, within walking distance of Front Street. A great stay!

The room was huge with fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. We loved our patio and enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio every day. Very romantic. Beach cabana is a 5 min walk, but we liked Black Rock beach better. It's quieter, almost no waves and about 15 min walk from the condo.

We had driven by the Palms may times and finally decided to book a one bedroom for 10 days. The condo is spacious and private. We had lots of room to spread out. Unlike the "motel" like condos with many people walking past your door and bedroom window chatting, you have a private entrance so no voices and footsteps from other parties coming home late or leaving early. TV channels were very limited so we would take a cord to connect our tablet to the TV next time. The condo had a bar-b-que on the lanai (not shared between units). The grounds are spacious and we were able to find a dark enough spot on the resort grounds to catch site of a few falling stars from the Geminid meteor shower! The main drawback was that the garden sprinklers came on every night around midnight and they hiss quite loudly when pressuring up. I would wake up but my Husband was able to sleep through this sound. Of course, you can also sleep with the windows closed as there is AC in the bedroom (or bring ear plugs).
We had a great experience, would consider it a solid 3.5 star property and recommend this resort.

This was our first time in Maui, from start to finish this Hotel was everything we expected. The staff was extremely friendly and funny. Very accommodating and helpful. They were starting to set up Christmas lights and decorations while we were there. That was fun to be a part of. Going to go back next year.
