Great Maui Vacation

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location, overall facilities, pool and beach.
Cons: The first unit we checked into had some cleaning problems and we needed to change to another unit.
Location: Lahaina is a great place with just about everything you would want to do. Haleakala National Park is worth a day of viewing.
Only had 4 nights here which was not enough. Great location for northern Maui activities, both sea and land. Owner of this unit had well stocked kitchen and beach toys.

Posted Apr 13, 2015
The parking is terrible. The maid only came to clean are room once and we were there for 7 nights. Then they charge us another $90 for cleaning at check out. We also had a late fight out and was told we couldn't stay. I will look at anther hotels next time.

The resort was pretty good.

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: The pool and beach access and the fact that it was close to the whole island while still be secluded
Cons: The parking spaces being bigger and a more friendly and accommodating staff
Location: Secluded but still close enough to everything for us.
It was okay but the staff were not exceptional. Our room and resort facilities were great but the staff were not friendly or accommodating at all. We had to wait for answers on several questions and even had to follow up on things ourselves which led to a dissatisfaction in this area. Was very close to all of our out of resort activities and quite secluded which was great :)

This hotel was perfect - the perfect hotel for us.

Posted Apr 8, 2015
The hotel concierge staff was very friendly and accommodating. They provided lots of information for local activities sites what beaches to go to what restaurants to eat in they knew everything about the island. There were workout facilities to use on site which were great. The swimming pool was so warm and comfortable. Steps from the pool there was the beach right there and it was calm and clear. One other bonus was we could see turtles and whales from the hotel. Parking was very easy. There were restaurants located near the hotel walking distance. The view from the lobby was beautiful. There is not a daily cleaning crew which didn't bother us one bit because we are not messy and like our privacy. If you are seeking a relaxing experience without all the bells and whistles this is your hotel.

Very dirty room #719

Posted Apr 2, 2015
The curtains were stained and very old. The ceiling was caked in dust that would blow off when we turned the fan on. The kitchen is very out dated and in bad shape. The shower curtain looks like it has never been replaced as it is ripped and has brown spots all over. The tile in the tub and vanity look molded and the grout is crumbling. We were very unhappy and uncomfortable.

Close to the beach with a lovely view

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Lots of things - very comfortable, easy atmosphere, close to the beach, nice pool, and friendly staff.
Cons: Seals on the doors to stop the wind noise.
Location: We went north one day and bought Julia's best banana bread - the views on the trip are breathtaking north of Kahana. Lots of shopping at Lahaina etc.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I knew when I booked that it had a fridge and a microwave, but was pleasantly surprised to find it had a kitchenette. The microwave didn't actually work, but as there was a full stove, that wasn't a problem. The room was quite large and the bed was really comfortable. We were on the 12th floor and had a nice view of the ocean and the pool and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony reading a book. The only thing that was annoying was that the seal on the sliding door to the balcony was not tight, so if you shut it tight, the wind screamed through the gap - we found we had to leave it open a little to stop the screaming. The wind howled around through our bathroom windows too, making it a bit noisy on occasion - but Maui is a windy place, so I guess this is part of the experience. Location was great - but we had a rental car. Not sure it would be that brilliant if you didn't have transport, as you are quite some distance from the main shopping around Lahaina.

excellent facilities for cooking and washing

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: room with washing machine and dryer were great,
Cons: nothing
Location: we hiked Haleakala, not close though as was the trip to Hana - ate at Maui Brewing company twice
close to lahaina for meals and shopping, on the beach,
