Steps from rooms to (for Maui) crowded beachPosted Jun 29, 2015
Fun location. Compared to other resorts the polo is weak. Great beach. Good snorkeling.

On the beach. 10 minute walk to whalers village.Posted Jun 28, 2015
The resort is on the beach. Concierge is very helpful with guests, I just wish we didn't have to wait so long at times to see them. Room staff and front desk staff are exceptional.

Great hotelPosted Jun 24, 2015
Loved it. They have a friendly staff, great activities and the famous black rock is right outside (people jump off/ dive off it). Around the black rock is also a great spot to snorkel :)

Great locationPosted Jun 23, 2015
Right next to some great Snorkeling at black Rock. Fun to roll out of bed onto best beach on Maui. Lots of activities and amenities at the resort. We saw sea turtles every day of our stay. Cliff jumping and swimming were perfect. Fun for the whole family. Small rooms though. All staff were very friendly and helpful except the lady that checked us in. She was very pushy about trying to upgrade our room to a suite for an extra 100 dollars a night. She kept making us feel like second rate citizens since we had booked through a third party (Expedia). Also was surprised by 36 dollar resort fee per day. We also had to pay 35 dollars to get a microwave in our room as well.

Sheraton black rock poinyPosted Jun 21, 2015
The location is excellent, just in from of black rock point, I think the best skorkeling area in Maui. However, the room was basic, the bathroom was not the best and the garbage was left with food inside. Another disappointing aspect was they will give you a photo study and a free picture , but if you want to buy it, is so expensive , each picture is $40 and you will want to buy all of them for $300!!!

Magnificent-Simply PerfectPosted Jun 18, 2015
From the clean, large, and updated rooms, to the endless amenities, to the perfect location to the indescribably attentive staff, this is by leaps and bounds the best overall hotel experience I've ever had. I will never stay anywhere else in Hawaii again. Pay what it costs- you must stay here.

Amenities and proximity to lovely surroundings=fabPosted Jun 17, 2015
We made relatively good use of its offerings: restaurants, grounds and exercise facility was adequate to great. Nice, laid back staff was kind and helpful, but not annoyingly in your face. felt like we had privacy but someone always willing to help if we needed it. That being said, didn't have great luck with concierge. She seemed new and immature and not too knowledgeable.

Excellent location and overall great experiencePosted Jun 15, 2015
Stayed for a week and the cleaning staff was superb. Beautiful ocean views from our balcony. Would definitely recommend. Only drawback was that the menu at the restaurant was pricey.
