Wonderful spotPosted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Everything. Everything!
Cons: Can't think of one thing we didn't have.
Location: Walking the beach walk, swimming so close to ocean and the pool was large and fun
People working there were so wonderful. Maid service was excellent. I will definitely come back. Clean and spacious.

Clean Rooms, Great locationPosted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, bed linens, great staff, Black Rock, live music by the pool at night.
Cons: Lower resort fee. Free use of beach chairs for Resort guests.
Location: Whalers Museum, shopping, and several restaurants just down the beach.
My husband and I loved our trip to Maui. The Sheraton Maui was the perfect resort for us. Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. In my travels, I have seldom found a bed that actually gives me a good night's sleep. The pillows and linens were top quality and made my vacation feel like a vacation. The pool side bar even cut fresh pineapples for us! The staff was super helpful. The location is perfect. Just a walk down the beach to Whalers Museum and shops and many restaurants right on the beach. We will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this resort. It truly was a perfect vacation.

Fabulous location! Beautiful resort!Posted Oct 13, 2014
Cons: Very expensive.
The breakfast buffet is quite expensive but if you walk down to Whalers Village and eat at Ruby's you will have great breakfast for a 1/3rd ofor the price. This resort is great for relaxation as nothing happens after 10:30pm. Great for early risers like myself and the many joggers I watched from my patio each morning as I drank my Starbucks Coffee.

The grounds were fantastic but the room was oldPosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: The pool area was great as well as the grounds. The massage/spa facility was great also
Cons: the rooms need to be uodated
Location: You can go snorkelling around Black Rock and swim with turtles which is great and there are a lot of fish swimming around very close to shore
We had a really nice time by the pool and the beach. The bars were great. The prices of dining at hotel were a bit on the expensive side and we were discouraged from eating there often

Awesome First Time ExperiencePosted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Location, Amenities, Friendliness of Staff
Cons: Rooms felt a little dingy, but overall clean
Location: The hotel offered lots of activities. It was also walking distance to other resorts.
It was my first time in Maui and it was great! The staff was friendly. When it came time to check out, it took a bit longer than it should. There were quite a few folks checking in and out and only one person available. After about 20 minutes, someone else came out.

Good locationPosted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Location and the yoga teacher.
Cons: Reception was a nightmare. There were long lines. Even when the lines were not bad, the staff was talking on telephones and ignoring the people wait
Hotel is well-located, older, but well-maintained. Food and services are expensive, but Genna, the yoga teacher was excellent.
