“Can't wait to go back!”

We were very happy with this condo and we stayed in unit 308. It was well appointed and had plenty of dishes, pots, towels, spices, etc. The grounds were very well kept and the pool was cleaned daily. The staff at the attached general store and tour company store were very friendly and helpful. Earlier reviews had complained about the noisy renovation work but this is completely finished now. The beach is very narrow and it gets deep quickly, but there are lots of beaches nearby for better swimming.

“Place to Stay when visiting Maui”

Sugar Beach was fabulous! We had a bottom floor out to the beach and it was beautiful! Our condo was clean and well maintained. The Condo community was friendly and quiet. My 2 year old son loved running and being able to go our side and play in the grass. Being at Sugar Beach was great for our son. It was a feeling of being at home with having a kitchen and washer dryer. Not confining as a hotel resort would be with all being stuck in one room together. Also not all the people that a hotel resort is known for having. It is centrally located to downtown and surrounding towns. We are already planning our return!

“Earthquake anyone??? :)”

The stay was awesome, and not because it was Maui...Maui is just "ok"...but Sugar Beach was awesome, talk about a nice relaxing vacation and a BEAUTIFUL condo (#212)... We couldn't have asked to stay at a better place. It was clean, with fresh and bright decor, just wonderful!! The grounds are immaculate, the beach is FABULOUS, if every view is as good or better than the one we had, you can't go wrong. The only thing i would change is the annoying fountain outside the balcony, but other than that it was definitely a 10 out of 10 stay for us at Sugar Beach. You can't go wrong!!

“Next year can't get here quickly enough!!”

This was the first trip to Maui for us and Sugar Beach made it more than wonderful. The condo was clean,and we had all the comforts of home. The washer/dryer is a great plus, sure cut down on my luggage! We are planning to come again next year and stay at Sugar Beach again. Use the beautiful on site grills, it'll help the budget.The pool and hot tub are also great. I'll be BACK!

“relax with an ocean view”

Wonderful location, easy to find and you can't beat the view. Spend a relaxing evening watching a beautiful sunset from your personal patio. Easy access to the business section via four lane highway. Great access to beach for sun and surf or grap some rays in the hotel pool. Private, yet just minutes away are places to eat, shop and do some night life. Would love to come back with hubby on a leisure trip.

“Family Vacation”

We had four families (sisters) go at the same time. We had a great time! The room was great. The view was fantastic. We even got fairly close to each other which was convenient. The ice chests, beach chairs and other amenities were nice. It was a very comfortable room. The weather did get really windy about mid afternoon. I don't know if it was the time of year or if it's windy all year round. There were a lot of places to go, shopping and activities that were close by. This was the first time all four sisters went on vacation at the same time. It made such a wonderful memory!

“Wonderful stay”

We stayed in an oceanfront room and was very happy with the resort. They have a nice pool area and a great private balacony to sit and enjoy the ocean.

The condo was very nice and clean. it made you feel at home.you will never forget the sounds of the ocean. having a ocean front view is awsome. We will be back in sept. and will continue to go to the nice unpopulated sugar beach!!!

“What a great place!”

Sugar beach is a great place to stay if you want to go to hawaii and relax away from the hustle and bustle of Wailea. Check-in was a snap, and kudos to Expedia for a flawless itinerary. We had no problems with reservations. The pool, hot tub, patio/grill, and landscaping are all well done! Our room was nice, although the decor was old, but very comfortable and clean and came with a great view of the ocean. But we didnt care much about the room considering we only slept in it and were gone most of the day anyway. The beach is small(i.e. not much sand between the grass and the water), but there is plenty of room to lay out on the grass by the beach or pool. There is a convenience store on site along with a place to make arrangements for a Luau or snorkling etc... My only complaint was that my vacation was not long enough. If you're looking to go to hawaii and not spend a lot of money, Sugar Beach Resort is the place to stay!
