Kapalua Villas, and Kapalua in general, is pristine. If you're coming with family, you should be fine here. If you are traveling alone the way I did, you might prefer a resort where you will run into people to speak with. The lonely factor was my biggest dislike.

Great view
We love Kapalua Villas, we love the location, the beaches, the privacy, the services. This particular unit had the hardest beds we have ever slept on during any vacation stay. We also had several ice cold showers, not by choice, during our 5 day stay. Also, the dishwasher was broken. The view at this unit is spectacular but bring an air mattress.

No power due to Lahaina fires my daughter who lives there lost her home it was a heartbreaking experience for us and we will never be able to unsee what we saw, under different circumstances I think the villa would be awesome, hope someday I can be reimbursed so we can come back again

This is a quiet and beautiful location. The pools were very nice and it's a great place to take a walk around. Close enough to the beach to walk to as well. Our particular Villa was somewhat disappointing. The couch was terribly uncomfortable and worn out. There was only one kitchen barstool. There was only one exterior tall chair and.ime regular chair. Making it difficult for a couple to sit and enjoy the outside veranda. Air conditioning was awesome. The living room slider leaked when it rained. The screen doors has locks but would not lock so we could not leave the doors open at anytime. The bedroom smelled musty from what appeared to be dampness in the carpet. The dresser was worse as it smelled of mildew so we could only hang out clothes. The unit could be updated.

It was not the villa l paid for. A lot of things did not work. One of the toilet was not flushing. Rooms fans were very noisy. Kitchen exhaust was not working. I would think again before booking here again in future.

Check-in instructions given are easy to follow. Amenities described are very accurate and the views from the villa are superb! Overall, it was a wonderful experience even though it rained some few days during our stay.

Very friendly staff and the property was stunning. We had a wonderful time. It smelled when we arrived and since it was dark, we had trouble finding the unit because there were building numbers, unit numbers, and an address. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the resort areas in Kaanapali.

The property is along the first tee of the Kapalua golf course with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. It is quiet, comfortable and well maintained. Arrived about 2 hrs before check in and was accommodated w early check in.

We had a great time staying at this property. It was clean, spacious and convenient. There were a few minor things that could have been a bit better such as limited hot water and a few things that needed some maintenance. All in all we had a wonderful experience.

Very nice place to stay. Quiet, relaxing. But to many steps, they should tell people they have to walk down 3 flights of stairs. To much for elders. Need to spray for pests.

This was an amazing property! I highly recommend this place to anyone considering coming to Maui. The area was amazing, lots of restaurants near by, beach access and pool access. Just all around perfectly located, perfectly kept, quiet and lovely.

Property/units need TLC and maintenance. Our original unit had a/c issues, we had to move to another unit. Both units had soiled furniture, torn upholstery on furniture, mold in shower area and dirty carpet. The exterior and grounds are beautifully maintained - pool area was great! Communication with management team was professional and timely, they addressed all concerns and issues in a timely manner. Kapalua is a beautiful area, villas just need a little attention to bring back the luster.

18B2 is a 1 bedroom plus loft not a 2 bedroom.
Great view. Decent unit. Needs updated furniture for sure. Was listed as a two bedroom. It was a 1 bedroom with loft. A loft is vastly different than a private bedroom. Not the privacy we thought we were getting in 18B2

Unit 25G2 needs major TLC
The condo 25G2 needs some serious work. Peeling paint in every room. Mold on ceilings in bathroom. Broken items like every plunger and the ironing board was literally in pieces. The only saving grace to this place was the pool and view. Very disappointed in paying that price per night to one get a place that needs complete renovations. Tears in furniture. The list goes on.

Kapalua Villas is a wonderful place to stay!
We had a wonderful time at Kapalua Villas! We stayed in the golf villas, and the whole property was just beautiful, with multiple pools to choose from, stunning views, and proximity to Lahaina (20 minute drive). The unit was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was pretty much fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals. There was a bit of deferred maintenance in the unit (dryer broken, coffee maker needed replacement, low water pressure, water that didn't get very hot, etc.), but the staff were very responsive when we called, and overall everything was really lovely.

The location and area around the property was exceptional. The cleanliness and upkeep of our condo was fair at best. The steps between entry door and living/dining area are very un-safe. My mom fell the first day, and others we talked to said they had a similar issue with the floor. We did get used to it, but it is still un-safe. Gas BBQs in pool area did not work well at all. We enjoyed the location and beauty of the property.

The ocean front views are great however we had nothing but issues prior to check in. with after hours checkin (past 5pm) there is no one in the office. The property is dark so good luck finding the office at night. A letter was left in a outside mailbox with instructions to access the room, however no gate access code was provided nor did we receive a em confirmation with instructions for entering the property. We did get a email on June 30th prior to our trip to call. I called the after hours number and the agent gave me the incorrect gate code. by now my husband was livid. We had to follow a car in to get to our unit. Once arrived, no wash cloths or hand towel provided in 2 Bathroom unit. I called again and was told I would have to wait until morning we have stayed at Kapaula villa in 2015 and 2017 w/o any issues and had a ball. With different management, the place is not the same. the units need to be upgraded and remove the dirty carpet, get an exterminator on a regular basis. The ice maker didn't work in our unit so I had to buy ice. We love Maui but will stay at the Ritz or Weston the next time.

This unit is filled with black mold coming from the vents and smells like mold. The unit needs to be updated badly and everything was in bad shape. We had to leave after the second night due to getting sick from the mold and the manager never returned the it call. This made our trip a nightmare and we will NEVER stay here again.

Kapalua Villas is beautiful and location is on the mountain side on Maui so it tends to be cooler and often rained unannounced. Villa is like a home away from home. We were able to go to a market 10 minutes away by car off property. This place has beautiful golf courses and 3 beaches on property. 5 days isn’t long enough to see all of what Maui has to offer. It was a beautiful vacation in paradise.
