This hotel is secluded along the coast of Maui. A lovely place to rest your head, yet close to many excursions in the area.

High class hotel in KapaluaPosted Sep 26, 2014
From the moment you pull up to valet you feel welcome. This hotel is out to spoil you. Walking up to check in we were greeted with shell lei's, followed by fresh guava juice. We were upgraded at check in, which we were not expecting at all. The rooms are beautiful. Sitting on the lanai is heavenly. So much more I could share but this hotel has A++++ spirit of Aloha like I haven't seen before. If you get a chance, eat at the Beach House. Phenominal experience.

Simply excellentPosted Sep 26, 2014
Cons: Nothing we can think of
Location: Beach, golf, exploration of small towns and great road trips.
What a better way to experience Mauii. the Ritz Carlton at it's best, from valet to cocktails everything was memorable. Pools were amazing and breakfast was outstanding.

Very good place to rest and play. Good service and beautiful place. I think the on site dining was a little pricy but I guess that's to be expected at a 5 star hotel .

Boring overpriced hotelPosted Sep 17, 2014
We stayed here for 4 nights and found it to be extremely expensive but did not include much. After the Ritz we stayed at the Montage. The Montage blew the Ritz away in terms of what they offer and service. The beach at the Ritz is ok but there is no towel or activities or beach chairs on the beach. At the Montage chairs umbrella and towels are all included in hotel price and is located at the beach. In addition the beach at the Montage is unbelievable. There are also hiking trails at the Montage when we decided not to leave resort. I would not stay at the Ritz ever again. We had breakfast there for 2 people without asking cost and got a bill for $80! And it was mostly continental breakfast items. Highly disappointed with the Ritz.

PerfectionPosted Sep 16, 2014
Could not have picked a better place to stay on Maui. Location. Service. Restaurants. The perfect swimming beach - not all beaches are for swimming on Maui. Staff was over the top - really genuine. We will be back!

Friendly staff in a great villagePosted Sep 13, 2014
Had ptions from doing nothing and laze around, swimming, sauna, spa, indulging in cocktails, relaxing on several sandy beaches to doing plenty of activities, including snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, fine dining, golf. All this with village shuttle and smiling helpful aloha staff.
