"Nice clean hotel right on the beach"
My wife and I stayed 10 nights for our 35th wedding anniversary. At first we were concerned of the noise since the hotel holds nightly luau (from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM) but it was not a problem. All the employees were very nice and helpful especially Virgie the hotel clerk. She helped us get another room with a full-size bed when the room reserved for us had two full-size beds. The hotel is right on the beach where we walked every morning, took daily swim and listen to evening live music at the bar/restaurant to watch the sunset. Very nice vacation and very memorable anniversary!!!

"Quiet, couple friendly hotel."
We loved our stay at Hotel Wailea. We were concerned about not being on the beach, but the private shuttle service was always quick. We waited no more than 5 minutes and that was only one occasion.

"Hotel across the road from a white sand beach"
Had reserved a juniour double queen suite. Got there ten minutes before check in time. Room was not ready. Was asked to wait 20 minutes. The room was spacious facing the gardens with a balcony. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Lots of rooms faced the parking lot. Lots of restaurants within very short driving distance. Nearby was a gas station and "ABC" store that carried all kinds of day to day needs. Used the beach which seemed popular with a lot of people specially around sunset. Quite picturesque.

"Nice and safe quite atmosphere close to things."
When I book my condo I was shown a picture of a loft which is a one bed room and sofa bed and nice kitchen . I had the impression that that was the room we were staying . I brag about it to my co - workers and even wanted to go to Hawaii for vacation next time. To my surprised I have a one bed room one sofa bed but one floor . No stairs like what the picture look like. I was told by the information desk that the loft cost more money and that Expedia wasn't supposed to tell us that that was the particular room we are staying . It misleaded us . But I did not mine the room we were at . It's just I fell in love with loft that I was told is the price I paid. But thanks anyway my family have a great time . I will still book with expedia again.

"Great Condo Facility"
Spent 3 nights in a 1 bedroom Ocean View room (102). Very nicely set up with everything you could need for your stay: Beach towels, snorkel sets, games. Full kitchen facilities and big fridge. Welcome package was good with vouchers and discounts at local stores/attractions. Very tidy condo and the bed was very comfortable. Great location at the end of Kihei.

"Best bet for both your wallet and Maui experience!"
It is no secret that Ka'anapali beach is the GO-TO beach of Maui, so it's definitely a bonus if you are living RIGHT NEXT to it. Don't be fooled by the surrounding beaches - they are nice, but they aren't Ka'anapli beach. Double bonus-Black Rocks just a few minutes walk. KBH locates right along Ka'anapali beach, sandwiched between Sheraton Maui and The Whalers' Village (a tourist shopping mall). Black Rock is located outside of Sheraton Maui, hence you just have to walk to the hotel next door, and you are right there (5 min). Snorkling is best right next to Black Rock too, as it's almost a guarantee to see sea turtles and tons of fish (we saw sea turtles every time we went snorkeling next to Black Rock). The hotel staff is super friendly, and this really is the MOST HAWAIIAN HOTEL in Hawaii. More importantly, if you drive an electric vehicle, you will be glad to know that it has 4 Lv 3 EV Charging Stations on site (as per Maui EV rental source maps) - unfortunately, I wasn't able to verify since I wasn't renting a vehicle for this trip. Here's a little secret - food is super expensive in Maui esp. going for seafood (fish), but not with KBH (plus a 20% discount for guests), and it tasted quite good! Oh, they will give you a quick goodbye party with Hawaiian nuts necklace when you leave - isn't that nice? KBH also has tons of freebies and activities for kids too (plus a lot of free bottled water, a luxury in Maui), so they will enjoy the stay (my kids did).

Stop and stay a while in Hana

Hana is a charming small town, much more than just a pit stop along the way to the towering high-rise resorts in the west. Stop and stay a while in Hana, and experience the authentic Aloha spirit. Rise with the sun for a majestic view of it over the water, kayak through coral reefs, and indulge in chocolate-covered macadamia nuts at the quaint Hasegawa General Store. Hana is an understated somewhat secret Hawaiian spot offering a peaceful and serene getaway.

Learn about the land’s geography and don’t forget to ask about the famous Makawao Rodeo as you gallop through the ranch.

    Hawaii’s beaches

Hawaii’s beaches are among the most inviting in the world. Find seclusion and alluring views at Hideaways Beach in Kauai, and visit Maluaka Beach in Maua for turtle sightings and kayak adventures around the bay. As for Lanai, get up close and personal with the sea life as you marvel at the spinner dolphins in Hulopoe and paddleboard along with the whales. Snorkel at Hapuna Beach on Hawaii Island and frolic with the fellow tourists at Waikiki Beach in Oahu for the ultimate tropical getaway.

Five best food splurges on Maui

Maui Wowie! When it comes to dining options, Maui sure knows how to wow with sunset settings, tiki lights, and straight-from-the-sea fresh entrees. Macadamia-encrusted mahi mahi shows up on the menu at Ferraro's Bar e Ristorante while Mama’s Fish House eagerly serves up Molokai sweet potato mash. The five best dining spots in Maui are sure to make your mouth begin to water faster than you can say, “humuhumunukunukuapua’a,” the name of Hawaii’s state fish.

    The back road to Hana

On your next adventure in Maui, take the road less traveled to Hana. While Hana Highway will take you to Hana, the Pi’ilani Highway will get you there, too. Many locals will deter you from using this back road, as it features its fair share of unpaved sections, but the view is well worth it in the end. Along the way, cruise through Ulupalakua Ranch, which is Maui’s only winery, and stop at Kaupo, where you’ll find the burial site of the famous aviator Charles Lindbergh.
