"Best hotel I have ever been to"
The Andaz was beautiful, comfortable, and the staff were kind and fun and very helpful, service was great. We even visited the four seasons and the grand weilea next door and they were trash compared to the beauty of this place. We loved our stay and will be back the next chance we get !

"This isn't a hotel. It's individual condo's."
There is a resort fee that has to be paid that wasn't mentioned by expedia at all. Fortunately the resort was worth the money even with the fee. There is no daily cleaning but the staff is ready with anything you need at any time.

"Great location on the beach."
We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the hotel. The staff was both friendly and very helpful. Our suite was very comfortable and spacious. The concierge staff was very helpful locating restaurants, churches, shopping areas, etc. They also were knowledgeable regarding the amenities both near the hotel as well as any activities available on the island. The hotel also offered many in-house activities including: fitness classes, ukulele lessons, lei making, table games, electronic games, miniature golf, table tennis, and much more. We spent about 25% of our time in the hotel. This was our first trip to Maui and we plan to come back again sometime. There is so much to see and do.

"Staff is outstanding!"
The hotel is under renovation so they have gone out of their way to provide alternative accommodations. Such as beach access at the Grand Wailea' swimming pool usage at The Fairmont, and massage specials at the Grand Wailea. We were extremely pleased with our stay.

It was a perfect hotel for us! It was right on the beach, not crowded. Staff was nice, but would only give one Beach towel at a time. We will probably stay there again when we return to Maui for our anniversary.

"Beautiful views if you don't want beachfront."
Let's face it. If you are staying here, then you've gotten a rental car. The beach is MAYBE 2 minutes away. The views of the ocean and islands is gorgeous! Our condo was listed as partial ocean view but you could see the ocean on about 90% of the view because the property is terraced into the the island topography. So don't fret over that. We also stayed at one of the 5 star resorts on the beach in Wailea for 5 days leading up to Ekolu. The only things we didn't have here were Koi ponds and a swim up groto bar. If you need beach items like boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc they have them available. Kihei is also close by and a great place to take in the local flavors without the resort prices at the bottom of the slope. It's all so easy to get to. The rooms are great. All the amenities you'd expect including grills to BBQ that included an LED light for evening (ours needed batteries since someone left it on) Peaceful property with courteous guests. We were just above one of the pools which was nice and clean. All in all, I would highly recommend and remember you're in Maui. If you are not having fun, IT'S YOU!

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The only improvement I could possibly recommend is keeping the swimming pool a little cleaner. The staff was excellent I really enjoyed talking to them and it gave me a lot of good hints.
