"Quiet, couple friendly hotel."
We loved our stay at Hotel Wailea. We were concerned about not being on the beach, but the private shuttle service was always quick. We waited no more than 5 minutes and that was only one occasion.

"Awesome stay"
Great as always. Stay in building 6 views are amazing! Very quiet but easy access to everything. The whalers village was where it was at for food. The resort restaurants were not amazing but room service was the best on the site. Food allergies such as Celiacs were easily accommodated via room service which was a surprise.

"Touch of paradise"
Staff always friendly and willing to help, buffet breakfast was better than expected- the grounds were always tidy. surprised at the size of the carpark- it was so full that they had to park in every second Isle- but I don't that this is common- they were offering free valet to everyone anyways. The shuttle service was handy for those days you started cocktails a little early-- mSt shuttle back to the hotel from town is at 9 or 10pm by memory.

"Beautiful location and hotel, friendly staff"
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was some place special. The Ritz is a beautiful hotel that feels away from it all, never felt crowded, and is on a very scenic piece of land. I would definitely return. The staff made check in, transportation, luggage, reservations, towels, taxis, all seamless. The food at the local restaurants is delicious, and the beach in front of the hotel is lovely and not crowded. The pool is large and spread out... I never felt like I was at a crowded resort. It felt like paradise, which is how Hawaii should feel.

"Great hotel with amazing suites"
This hotel had amazing Suites and was close to a beach. The staff were all wonderful and the shuttle service made it easy to get around. The beach was never too crowded and was steps away from the hotel's property. The Tranquility Area was perhaps too close to the children's pool as children could always be heard. This hotel seemed to be very popular for families with young children and couples over 40.

Stop and stay a while in Hana, and experience the authentic Aloha spirit. Hawaii’s beaches

Hawaii’s beaches are among the most inviting in the world. Find seclusion and alluring views at Hideaways Beach in Kauai, and visit Maluaka Beach in Maua for turtle sightings and kayak adventures around the bay. The five best dining spots in Maui are sure to make your mouth begin to water faster than you can say, “humuhumunukunukuapua’a,” the name of Hawaii’s state fish.

    The back road to Hana

On your next adventure in Maui, take the road less traveled to Hana. While Hana Highway will take you to Hana, the Pi’ilani Highway will get you there, too. Many locals will deter you from using this back road, as it features its fair share of unpaved sections, but the view is well worth it in the end. Along the way, cruise through Ulupalakua Ranch, which is Maui’s only winery, and stop at Kaupo, where you’ll find the burial site of the famous aviator Charles Lindbergh.
