I booked a standard room I now know they call basic for 5 nights and paid £130 a night When I arrived they said they my room Was in the block on the road side because my room was standard/ basic. The entrance of the block smelt of drainage Like a sewer / toilet . The traffic started At 6am until 6pm I could hear the road traffic constantly. I complained and wanted a refund so I could book another hotel after travelling 11 hours from Uk and paying £130 I was expecting a lovely room and beach like in the pictures. Please note The beach has been photo shopped to look like it’s a white long beach but it’s very short and is slanted like on a hill and it’s uncomfortable to lay down. It has corals and stones . The whole of flic en flic beach has corals stones and seaweed unless you have a 5 star hotel then the beach is better looked after. This hotel is out dated with old brown wood And Very over priced . Not worth the money . Do not waste your holiday or Honeymoon going there . The staff are not helpful at all .A drainage toilet smell would come on at night into the room i called the night staff and they agreed it smelt bad and moved me to another room. In the morning I saw the manager Dave and explained to him About the road noise and bad smell. The night staff who smelt the room was to scared of him and lied that it didn’t smell. I booked 5 nights but only stayed for 3 and left so I lost my Money . Please read others reviews on here . Don’t be fooled by the pictures.

We loved our stay. All staff are very friendly and professional. We did not have any issues. We rented a car from the hotel which was very convenient with a reasonable price. The best part of our stay was the chef Mr. Alain Huet. It was a true honor meeting him as he was exceptional in all things he did. He was very caring, meticulous, and respectful. We have only met very few people in our life with similar qualities. Mr. Pradeep and Mr. Kam were very welcoming and helpful at several occasions. We would like to thank all staff for their professional assistance. Things to improve: Daily water bottles. Free room dining service. Giving two access cards for each room. Having coffee available all the time (coffee machine and black coffee).

The check in clearly says noon on Orbitz but they insisted it was at 2 pm and had me wait out the two hours before giving me a room. If you’re ok with traveling 12 hours to Mauritius to have to wait two extra hours for a room, this may be the hotel for you. The open buffet food was nothing to write home about either.

Don’t go here for holiday, not for business either. Unless you have kids who want to invade the swimming pool or if it’s ok for you that they run out of food in the middle of the serving. The beach is super narrow and has a steep slop down to the sea. If you try to enjoy the sun beds on the beach, you are gliding out of it because of the slope. But it’s not so far from the bus station, so you can go somewhere else.

Excellent staff. Special Juanita and Baby. The property needs a complete renovation. Location on beach is great, but coastal road is directly in front and noisy. Breakfast is just average. Lots of selection but none tasty.

Sorry can’t accept this for the money paid
Everything is wrong with this resort 1. Booked for 9 days due to flight postponement changed dates but for no refund for 2 days though whole resort literally empty 2. Was given a worst room and had to pay mu1200 per person per night to upgrade to get a sea facing view 3. For extra payment got nothing other than fruit platter 4. Broken locks , no hot water , broken toilets 5. All 7 days same breakfast very poor quality , birds and insects 6. Five star charges not even one star facility 7, resort is keen to make money whether customer is provided service or not 8. Poor quality WiFi lack of good speed Overall very disappointed and no value for money

The hotel is not worth 3 star rating. I would give them 2 star the max. The room was old and dated. The furniture was broken. The TV was in a seperate small room and barely worked. The towels had "specific smell" . The bathroom was filthy . If you only look for a bed to sleep at night. This is fine. If you want to enjoy and pamper yourself. This is not the one.

Beautiful, well maintained beach. I could have spent the whole day just lying on a sun lounge under a thatched umbrella gazing out at the ocean and relaxing - and that's exactly what I did! Excellent service and friendly, helpful staff were also great.

The hotel caters to regular large Italian tour groups who get all the good rooms. Mine had a view of the back of the kitchen and the deliveries area and was not what I reserved. The room was infested with mosquitos the whole stay. The staff (with one exception) and the manager are excellent. And it is right on the beach.

The hotel is cute and has nice amenities for their guests. The breakfast and included water activities were great! However, the staff was not accommodating when I added a guest to my room. My room rate more than doubled for simply having another person stay with me in one bed for only one night.

Short Stay at Pearle Beach
The greatest plus of the hotel is its location by the beach. Apart from that it is a very basic hotel. I got great room rates as it was off peak period. However, everything else in the hotel is overpriced. Had dinner one evening and did the buffet. It was a simple buffet that went for a whopping USD40. The spa is extremely overpriced as well with acceptable service. Service staff are mixed. A few really good ones, but some of the staff just didn't know what they are doing. I don't think they even realise they are in a service industry. Rooms are basic. I have to say the toilets are very nice is contrast to the room itself. There is a stench along the corridors all the time for some reason.

Mixed feelings about this hotel
The people of the Mauritius island are wonderful, the staff at the Pearle beach resort were wonderful as well. The food was good and with varieties, even one of the chefs is Italian. The entertainment program in the hotel was great with a group of three Italian tourist guides trying to make everyone involved and happy. Two negatives about the hotel: 1. The false advertisement of what they considered an "ocean view" was really annoying, if you have booked an ocean view room, prepare to be told that you need to walk 20 meters outside your room to see the ocean, while there are clearly, second flood rooms, that overlooked the ocean 2. Plenty of cockroaches, even inside the room.

Moderate but good experience.
Good view of the pool and ocean with our other room overlooking the garden and pool. Both great rooms and view. Great food with excellent variety and very fresh. Nice size room with good aircon. The cleaning lady named Baby was bright and cheerful every morning and did a fantastic job cleaning and making the experience a joyful one. The Wi-Fi was strongest at the reception and pool area. In room the wifi was good in one but lacked in another. Great activities during the day. The hotel offers a free 40-minute snorkelling trip on a glass bottom boat which was a pleasant surprise with an abundance of fish and coral. The pool table needs updating as it lacked a full set of balls as well as a catchment for the pocketed balls. The hotel also offers other water activities such as kayaks and more. Beach was beautiful to look at but would recommend to bring reef shoes as the shards of coral defiantly tickles. The hotel is quite small which makes the experience a lot more personal and the staff try to accommodate to your needs as much as possible. The activity staff were great with a special mention to the singers, Kenny and his team. The activity staff defiantly put on a great NYE party. Excellent location on beach
Excellent location on beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness excellent. We stayed on a B&B package. Only negative thing to say is that if you decide to eat and drink at hotel it is expensive which is a shame. If they brought the prices down more guests would stay and use the services, they are losing out. Like a lot of others we ate out at local restaurants and cafes. Would highly recommend hotel.

Lovely resort and spa on beach front
The Hotel was on the beach front with amenities within walking distance.The resort had good spa facilities, very satisfied with massage. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of choice for breakfast. The Management team kindly allowed a late checkout because we had a late departure.

Can be better
We stayed at the Pearle Beach Hotel on a Half Board basis for two weeks. Our Standard Room – very different from what you see in the official hotel photos – was broadly ok, though the minibar fridge was so noisy that we had it disconnected and, worse still, the room had an intercommunicating door! However, the major problem is that, unlike all other room types, which are located around the swimming pool and the garden areas, standard rooms are in a separate building at the back of the hotel. They face either the noisy coastal road or, like ours, a small road which is incessantly used by all sorts of service vehicles – e.g., rubbish collection, waste water collection, food deliveries, taxis, coaches, staff transport, etc. – and this makes it very hard to sleep after 5:30am. For the first four days we pleaded in vain for a change of room but detected no willingness to help as every time we were reminded that we had booked a standard room. Our insistence was then met with the explanation that only other standard rooms were available but the ‘reassurance’ that “if a better room becomes available, we will let you know” gave their true intentions away. This was very disappointing since, immediately after booking – about three full weeks before our arrival – we contacted the hotel to specifically ask that our room be away from road noise. If Standard Rooms cannot provide quiet, it would have been appropriate for the hotel to say it then. This spoiled it for us.

we have 3 of us in this trip & we have booked a seaview room for 2 due to can't find a room for 3 in expedia website. We have been charged EUR65 per night& total EUR130 (after discount, at first they request EUR80 per night) for the extra person when we checked in. when we go in to the room, that receptionist call Jessica who bring us in told us no seaview room available in the first night, will only can get to seaview room in the second night. Why she only told us in this when we go to the room but not in the counter when the time I paid for the extra charge? And we only get a free massage half & hour for each of us. Jessica told us this is what can she offer for us & can't get the refund. REALLY FEEL LIKE HAS BEEN CHEATED.

Perfectly good hotel at a good price - was for a business trip. The evening meal was plentiful and good - but if you like seafood, best to eat out.
