"Nice hotel close to important venues,"
We had the hotel breakfast. The food was delicious. The staff greeted us with options. They were helpful without being overbearing. We also had drinks at the hotel bar. The bar was small and well placed off thee lobby. Again, we were served by gracious and competent staff. I found the hotel to be a charming retreat from the hustle and bustle of Picadilly Circus. The hotel was located near charming shops and a great slection of restaurants, pubs and party venues. I believe young and old, business travelers or people on holiday would enjoy this hotel. It is charming with modern features.

"Great location, secure, and very comfortable"
We were thrilled with the location and surroundings, and the actual comfort of our room. We are a family of 5 and enjoyed the history of the area and the ease of using the underground to get us to places easily and cheaply. We had a two bedroom unit with two bathrooms and it was fabulous. Quiet and spacious. Internet in the room an added bonus.

Pocket Guide: London Mayfair Ascott Hotels

Famous for its hotels, Mayfair holds London's most expensive homes and, on Bond Street, its most expensive shops. But the tucked-away pubs, restaurants, and shops of atmospheric Shepherd Market offer affordable local colour, too. Sandwiched between several main roads, Marylebone has a village atmosphere and a charming High Street. Nearby attractions include Madame Tussaud's and the Georgian splendours of Regent's Park, including London Zoo.
