A satisfying experience.Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: When it comes to customer service, the staff is second to none. The hotel and the over 800 acres of resort is beautiful and is a rich experience.
Cons: The hotel is far from other activities in Mazatlan. The resort should have places to shop on its property. And they need more than one restaurant.
Location: There isn't much to do near by the resort but you can get a shuttle into New Mazatlan (40 mins away) and go boating, snorkeling, horseback riding, etc
Pros: From the moment we arrived at the resort, we loved it. I can't say enough about the staff and their customer service skills. The resort is stunning from every view. The beach runs for miles and all of the expected luxuries are readily accessible. The resort is huge and remotely located on over 800 acres and access protected be a security gate. It's like being in a gated community which put us in an extra relaxed state. Though there was only one restaurant - we can't complain about the food - it's well prepared and sizable portions. The rooms are very nicely designed and our ocean view from the balcony was breath taking. The room's restroom was large with double sinks, a private toilet, a stand-up shower and separate tub. Our room had a mini-frig, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, a valuables safe, cable TV and good wi-fi reception. The pools, spa & salon were also nice. Cons: As I mentioned the resort is over 800 acres but there is only one restaurant and no shopping - that includes a souvenir shop. The hotel provided us a shuttle into the city to shop but the city isn't close by and they don't wait for you - they return for you. None of the boat tours pick-up from the the resort beach so you also need to get a shuttle to the city to take advantage of those things. While the cleaning staff were excellent, there were insects in the sinks regularly. We weren't sure if that was a pest control issue or a Mazatlan issue but they didn't keep us from enjoying our stay.

Amazing, beautiful & peaceful locationPosted Aug 12, 2014
A truly beautiful beach location. Lovely pools & restaurant has a great menu. Wait staff are very nice & helpful. Things to think about - room location for wifi service & some ocean view rooms can barely see the sea re. lay of the land. Only disappointing thing was they authorised my creditcard card for $5000 peso for just a night stay & I need to wait for this to be reversed - not helpful when you are still on holiday for another 10 days (now short $500US ) Especially when I had confirmation at checkin that this would not happen :o(

we were most disappointed with the food at the dining room at the clubhouse, but at Delphines, things were fine. It is a nice place to stay but one must want to be away from all

Beautiful property, this was our second stay here. Disappointed that the main restaurant was closed the day we stayed, besides that all was fine.

passing through MazatlanPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a beautiful property well maintained with excellent rooms. It is away from the center of Mazatlan but we found this to be a plus as it was quiet and peaceful and one is not pestered by beach vendors! It caters to the golfing enthusiast which I am not but we truly enjoyed our stay there... Highly recommended.

Good hotel to relax at.Posted Apr 11, 2013
Hotel staff very friendly, room well organised and roomy. Hotel was small therefore much more friendly atmosphere than a large hotel. Food was good.
Quiet and relaxing.Posted Mar 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you are looking for a quiet location to relax, this is it. It is nowhere near any of the busyness of the center of Mazatlan, and sits on some 800 acres of property. Indeed, unless you rent a car, you aren't going anywhere but on resort property. It looks like lots of future plans are being made for the area, such as condos, individual vacation homes, etc. The beach goes on and on, and is very private. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant staff was too. Our room was large and clean.
