Great hotelPosted Aug 10, 2014
After staying at the palms for three nights our second part of our vacation was a pueblo bonito. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of this place compared to the palms. Everything was good, the food , the pool and the beach. The only thing that I didn't like was the time share presenters. They should tell us before hand that after our first presentation that they are going to set us up with a second presenter. If I said I'm not interested in the timeshare why would I say yes to the second presenter. This guy was rude just because we didn't wang to join their pueblo amigo passport. Overall it was a nice hotel.

Find a different one.Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: the restaurant staff and food was very good and fantastic view while eating
Cons: The hotel itself should be leveled and better use as a parking lot for a better more modern hotel. The hotel is probably well suited for colleges kids
Location: hotel is on the ocean and within walking distance to nicer hotels
We were very disappointed with the hotel which is in much need of up keep. Some of the rooms have excellent views of the ocean and we could see the ocean if we go out on the small balcony. The first turn off is the small lobby cramped with way too much furniture. The next turn off was that when you check-in the person checking you in won't give you a key to the room or even tell you where it is until you go to another desk manned by a very annoying woman that wants to sell you a time share. Security - once our bellman took us to our room he finds that the safe had been stolen but would send up another! We locked our valuables in our car, not our first choice. The room had a refrigerator that had not been cleaned probably in weeks but they did clean it when we asked. Mazatlán is a beautiful place and overall a secure location, but unless you are going there to purchase a time share I would avoid Mazatlán because you will be hounded by very persistent people from you taxi driver, your waitress to people in the shops.

Hotel facilities / room cleaninessPosted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: Hotel staff at the arrival point , very friendly, respecful and helpful . Very nice rooms , beatiful view , love it !!!!!!!
Cons: Hours to use the swimming pool until midnight , also your waiters stay until 9 or 10 pm around the swiming pool , your bar is open late .
Location: Music at the beach on nights , we some nice fire lights , like in Hawaii , dance contests , entertainment but all these at the Beach , people love it
There was something , that we did not quite like it , room cleaniness , there were few times that room was not clean properly , also toilet paper was not replaced , that we had to ask for it at night when we got back from trips , also it was one day that I even told the cleaning lady that day that we needed toilet paper , and we were leaving on a tour to go ahead and do our room and we tipped her good , and we came back from the tour and our room was not done , maybe I forgot to change the tag outside the door , but I told the lady that we were leaving right at that moment to go ahead and do my room . Hotel facilities , Mazatlan is a very humid city , and when we are in the swiming pool we just dont want to get out of it , so I think you should allow people to stay in the swiming pool until midnight at least , we are there on vacation , buying beers at your bars and having a good time , no need to get up early next day , so 10 pm is no good for closing your swiming pool , " we are on vacations " , also you waiters the work until 6 pm at the swiming pools , people still there enjoying , and we need more beer or food ,, no waiters we have to go and get them ourselves " not very classy " also at least there is a restaurant open late , we like that .

Hotel on the beachPosted May 22, 2014
Pros: The small suite was very comfortable. The grounds were really pretty and location was on the beach.
Cons: The restaurant food was not very good and that seemed to be consistent with both restaurants we ate at. Service was slow too.
Location: We spent the day at Emerald Bay which was a part of the all inclusive. The food there as well as the the pool and beach was absolutely amazing.
Nice units and comfortable beds. They are Time share units so have partial kitchen too. The grounds were very nice with lush plants. The pool was not bad either, it had a swim up bar. We were disappointed with the restaurants food.

Nice hotel with wonderful staffPosted May 5, 2014
Pros: We loved the size of the resort, the pools, the location of the hotel, the food, the drinks, and the staff.
Location: The hotel is located at the beginning of the Hotel Zone heading into Mazatlan. Only a short pulmonia or bus ride to downtown.
We just returned from a week in Mazatlan and cannot express how wonderful our experience was. We were treated so well by the staff at the hotel... They made our visit special. Very sad to leave. We previously visited Cancun but will return to Mazatlan before returning to Cancun. Can't wait to book our next holiday.
