Not GreatPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: The beach location is great.
Cons: Very outdated. The room was too small for what we paid.
Location: We were only there one night and did not dine at the resort.
The beach location is good. The rooms are very marginal, outdated and small. It was not worth what we paid for it. The staff was OK. They asked for a $200 refundable deposit for a one night stay. I would not stay here again.

Cons: Almost everything
Have stayed here for the last 5 years and the condtion of the hotel gets worse and worse every year.no maitence to rooms, old uncomfortable furniture and our room had sugar ants, water beetles, and everyones favorite cockroaches!Do not buy the all inclusive you would have to eat every meal there and alcohol choices are limited. They actually made about 300 dollars off of us and the food quality is poor at best . The one thing that has stayed the same is the friendly hard working staff but management has definitely dropped the ball.

Excellent!Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Everything, the room was big and I specially enjoyed the sitting area in the balcony where we were able to enjoy our meals with the ocean view
Cons: Maybe that even though the hotel was bare the waiters in the pool/beach area were a bit slow
Location: We took walks to the near restaurants and if we needed something to the stores
I read a lot of bad reviews about Pueblo Bonito before I made my reservation from guests that apparently stayed while there were some remodeling going on or because it was too crowded and/or rowdy (probably because people went during Easter/Summer), this shocked me because I've stayed at this resort before and I never had anything bad to say about this place. I guess some people are just flat out picky - for not saying a pain in the rear because for the price you pay you can't get better than this. Also, the location of this hotel it's just great and the staff speak perfect English and everything that I asked for we got right away. I have to say that Oct was the best time for us to plan our trip because our room was updated from pool view to ocean view at no cost, there were plenty of launcher chairs around the pool and beach area because the hotel was literally empty - which made it also very quiet and therefore we were able to just kick it and relax.

Beautiful ocean front suites on beautiful groundsPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: The hotel has the old-time charm with teak wood, Mexican ceramic floors, large french doors leading to a balcony with a view of the ocean and pool.
Cons: They were repairing one of the pools during our stay but the other pool was still available. Prefer the older section of the hotel.
Location: We have done Stone Island & Deer Island for horseback riding, banana boat rides, snorkeling and lunch zip-line and deep sea (big game) fishing.
First stayed at Pueblo Benito Mazatlan about 24 years ago. Have returned many times. It is a beautiful hotel where every room is a suite overlooking the ocean. Excellent staff, gorgeous landscape, good food. This is not a large hotel; staff will get to know you and remember your preferred beverage.

Supposed to be all inclusive but its notPosted Aug 1, 2013
Location: The location is pretty good.
It's an old hotel it needs rebuilding, the rooms smell old. It's called all inclusive but most drinks have an additional charge some food has an additional charge too, and if i pay all inclusive thats what I wanna get. I would definitely not recommend this resort to a friend!!

Not the same Hotel after the yearsPosted Jul 2, 2013
Pros: Common Areas
Cons: Cleanliness in the bathroom/shower
Location: Mazatlan is a great destination, best beaches in Mexico!!
The quality of this Hotel is definitely not the same after the years. The staff is not as friendly and the room cleanliness and general condition was a bit disappointing.

Really liked the hotelPosted Jun 26, 2013
Hotel was great! Only complaint is the double beds are very small for 2 adults. Staff was extremely nice and really enjoyed the amenities. Check in is a little slow, and cashier not always available to change money, but the stay was great! Would recommend this hotel and stay there again in the future.
